This crew we were with was amazing! Kevin was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had in a tour trip, very informative about the history of each destination we went to. Victor was also great at ensuring we were picked up at the right place and ensuring that no one got lost when we forgot where to go within each place, nailed down the logistics. And Pedro was amazing at ensuring we made it to each destination safely and timely. If you end up with these people in your tour, you’re in safe and fun hands!
We really loved the tour and our busdriver and guides Noi, Victor and Paul. They took good care of us and gave good information about Mayan culture etc. Would recommend! Bring some snacks as it is a long tour and only one stop for food.
We had an absolutely amazing time on our Chichen Itza tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Pastor. He was fantastic—incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history and culture of the site. He brought the ancient Mayan world to life with fascinating stories and insights that you just can't get from a guidebook. The entire tour was well-organized and seamless from start to finish. If you're planning a visit, definitely look for Pastor—he truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!
Wonderfully entertaining, informative, and enjoyable day that everyone in our group (ages 9-54) enjoyed. Our guide, Beto, was excellent; sharing a lot of really interesting info in a humorous and engaging way. We learned a lot and had a super fun day. Beto really cares about you having a positive experience on your excursion. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his tour to anyone considering a visit to these sites.
Swimming in the Cenote and visiting Chichen Itza was incredible. the buffet lunch was also great. Out guide, Manual, was the most knowlegable and informative tour guide I have ever had! I used to teach about Mayan history. But, Manual taught me things I, previously, did not know.
The guides were very nice and knowledgeable, spoke English very well also.
Our excursion started at 5:10am with a pick up at our resort. The driver didn’t speak any English despite us booking an English tour. After about 1.25 hours we were dropped off near Cancun at a gas station and had to wait for another bus to pick us up 15 minutes later. From there it was approximately 2.5 hours to Chichen Itza at 8am local time. I understood it to be an 2 hour drive but it was actually 4 hours. After 30 minutes we got started. We were told we would have a 60 minute guided tour and 30 minutes of free time. Again, I understood this to be 2-2.5 hours but didn’t realize that included the (extended) entry to the park. I don’t think I need to get into the trip back to our resort but there is one thing I do want to mention. After arriving back at the gas station and transferring buses again, additional people were added and our 1.25 hr trip (from Cancun to playa del Carmen) ended up being closer to 2 hours. Overall, a 14 hour day which was spent mostly in transit. At Chichen Itza, our tour guides Jaum and Juan were amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. But I understood our excursion to be English. It turned out to be bi-lingual. I think it would have been much better as strictly English unless necessary. We were extremely excited to visit Chichen Itza and learn about the site and the culture but extremely disappointed to have it so short of a visit. Would not recommend this tour if you want to be immersed in Chichen Itza fully.
It was an amazing experience, I would totally recommend this,
I don’t know how Manuel [Tequila] get high reviews. He was incredibly RUDE. The day of our tour it rained 85% of the time. When I was trying to get his attention to ask if i could go back to the entrance to get an umbrella, he did not want to stop and allow me to ask a question, when I voiced my concern, as he walked away he yelled “me estoy mojando”. REALLY! So was I, except for I was getting wet the whole day. He couldn’t even answer a quick question for me. The lady, he partner, I think her name was Louisa was great.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had an outstanding experience on the Chichen Itza, Chichikan Cenote, and Valladolid tour. We chose the early tour that departed at 5:00 a.m., and it was absolutely worth it. Arriving early allowed us to enjoy Chichen Itza before the largest crowds and the hottest part of the day. A special thank you to our driver, Manuel, who kept us safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He was professional, courteous, and made the transportation portion of the trip seamless. We would also like to recognize our tour guides, Frank and Omar, who were exceptional. Their knowledge of Mayan history, culture, and the significance of Chichen Itza brought the entire experience to life. They were engaging, informative, and entertaining, making the tour enjoyable for both adults and children. Chichen Itza was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. The Chichikan Cenote was another highlight—beautiful, refreshing, and a unique experience that we will never forget. We also enjoyed our stop in Valladolid, which offered a wonderful glimpse into the local culture and charm of the Yucatán. The only minor inconvenience was the pickup process at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. The hotel does not allow tour operators to enter the property for lobby pickups, so guests must walk all the way to the security checkpoint outside the resort, which can be a considerable distance. This is not the fault of the tour company, but future guests staying at the resort should be aware and plan accordingly. Traveling with a group of 13 people can be challenging, but thanks to Manuel, Frank, and Omar, everything went smoothly. Their professionalism, friendliness, and passion for what they do made this one of the highlights of our vacation in Mexico. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Yucatán Peninsula. It was the perfect combination of history, culture, adventure, and relaxation.
