Un recorrido en grupo pequeño con un toque local y personal. Probablemente la gira más famosa de Islandia, el Círculo Dorado es la mezcla perfecta de historia humana y natural. Visitaremos el Parque Nacional Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss, el invernadero Friðheimar y la Laguna Secreta. El Golden Circle es una visita obligada para cualquiera que quiera experimentar verdaderamente Islandia, y Scret Lagoon es la manera perfecta de relajarse y disfrutar de Islandia. Una experiencia de almuerzo muy singular en el invernadero Friðheimar, el almuerzo está incluido.

Thingvellir se caracteriza por un valle tectónico de rift y marca la separación de las placas euroasiática y norteamericana entre sí. En 930 se estableció en Thingvellir el Parlamento islandés, la primera democracia del mundo. Thingvellir se convirtió en Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2004. Caminamos hasta la cascada de Öxarárfoss.
¿Sabías que el nombre inglés “geyser” deriva del único en la zona de Haukadalur en Islandia? El propio géiser Geysir arroja agua hirviendo a una altura de hasta 70 metros, pero está casi inactivo. Strokkur, a sólo unos metros del géiser, entra en erupción cada 4 minutos en promedio. Faxi es una cascada cercana y paramos allí.
Cerca de Geysir se encuentra la hermosa cascada de Gullfoss. Disfrute de la vista desde arriba y camine por el sendero para acercarse a la poderosa cascada.
En el invernadero Friðheimar se cultivan tomates utilizando calor geotérmico y electricidad generada geotérmicamente. Con un clima tropical en su interior, han abierto un restaurante, ahí mismo, en el campo de tomates. El ingrediente principal de su menú son, por supuesto, los tomates cultivados allí. Esta es una experiencia de almuerzo muy rara y única.
Descanse y relájese en la antigua piscina local de Flúðir, también llamada Laguna Secreta.

We had an awesome tour guide for three days and were able to see so much in a short time! This was a private small group tour 7 to 11 people. Our guide Addie was very professional, personable and knowledgeable of Icelandic history and the sites we visited! She was flexible if we needed to spend a bit more time in some places. Guides provide and reinforce safety information to visitors. It's nice to ride and enjoy the scenery a d not have to focus on driving. She had great stories too!! We booked a private tour with the Family and it was a wonderful experience. This is the second time we booked our vacation with this company and the experience was amazing as always. Hopefully next visit we will pick more places to visit and see in Iceland

We enjoyed our tour of amazing sites on the Golden Circle. Helga, our guide, was excellent! She was passionate, friendly, amazingly knowledgeable with an Advanced degree in geology. Ending the day at the secret lagoon was the icing on the cake!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even looked like a Viking! The landscape was spectacular. The geyser did not reach any kind of height, just sort of bubbled and steam blew out, but that is no fault of the tour company. I was with a group of 8 friends, we decided that we did not want to get off at the secret lagoon but wanted to continue on with the rest of the tour and our guide accommodated us.
