This was the second tour we took with Prime Tours Krakow during our recent stay and like the first it was excellent! We were picked up from our hotel by Thomas who was our driver/ guide. His driving was excellent and his English impeccable. His knowledge seemed limitless. We learned so much on our journey to and from Zakopane - everything from the history and culture of the areas we passed through or stopped at to the architectural style of the houses and villages. Zakopane itself is beautiful and the views from Gubalowka Hill over the valley and the Tatra Mountains is breathtaking. This was a truly exceptional day from start to finish and I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for both of your wonderful reviews and for choosing us twice during your stay! It was a true pleasure to host you, and we hope to see you again in Kraków!
We did this trip on the last day of our holiday which worked out perfect as we got picked up from the hotel in the morning and dropped to the airport after. It was great to get out of the city and see other parts of Poland, the drive was very scenic and we had a great laugh with Tomasz our driver who was very knowledgeable. Zakopane was busy as it was Easter weekend but the views were great, especially at the other quieter viewpoints we stopped at. However Chocholow was my absolute favourite part of the trip as the buildings were stunning. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone going!
Thank you for your kind words! During our Zakopane visits, we always aim to show our guests the most beautiful and meaningful sights, and the wooden cottages in Chochołów are certainly a highlight. That’s why a stop there is mandatory on every Zakopane tour organized by us.
Tomasz was great and made us feel at ease. The whole day was like spending it with a friend not a tour guide He was very informative and at times made us laugh. Tomasz asked us what we were interested in and stopped at places where we could take photos To top the day off Tomasz took us to a bonfire and we had a lovely meal with drinks Would highly recommend booking any tour with Tomasz
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted that Tomasz made your day feel relaxed, friendly, and full of great memories. The bonfire experience is one of our favorite ways to end a tour — a perfect mix of good food, local flavors, and a warm atmosphere. We’re so glad you enjoyed it and truly appreciate your recommendation!
This was an incredible experience and such a memorable day out for me and my wife. Ralf, our driver and tour guide, was incredible and made the day amazing, his local knowledge together with his great planning gave us an incredible day. If you are thinking of doing this trip do not hesitate and this company come highly recommended from ourselves. So many magical moments packed into the day too, a pleasant surprise around every corner. Ralf, it was a real pleasure to meet such a lovely man. Thankyou again Tim and Chrissie Holmes ❤️
Thank you so much! It was a real pleasure for me to be your driver and guide. I’m especially happy to hear that, from what I understand, you’ll be returning to Poland — to Kraków and Zakopane — this time with a larger group. I’ll be truly delighted to see you guys again!
We had an amazing time in Zakopane, our driver Tomasz was on time for pick up, drove safely and showed us lots of sites. His English is exceptional so we had some great conversations! He was super friendly and we had a great experience going up on the funicular, exploring Zakopane town and even quad biking through the mountains. A perfect winter trip highly recommend.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re delighted you had an amazing time in Zakopane with Tomasz. It’s great to know he made your trip so enjoyable. Zakopane Visit sound like the perfect winter adventure! We hope to see you again soon!
Pawel was fantastic making our trip to Zakopane a memory we will never forget. We had lively discussions & he was very caring & attentive. We did the add on of the sleigh ride which was a bucket list item. It and the bonfire afterwards exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend This tour company. Raph, the owner, picked us up at the airport & also did our salt mine tour. We were changing hotels that day & while just a block away, offered to move our luggage for us. Definitely great service!!!!
Tomasz was a terrific guide to the beautiful Zakopane area. It was really crowded the day we visited…but somehow he managed to avoid having us stand in any line. Breathtaking views of the mountains and ski slope, a chair lift ride, a visit to the tiny and charming Sacred Heart of Jesus chapel, a visit to the local Highlanders market and more. Excellent commentary and conversation. A delightful day!! Thank you Tomasz!!
Tomas was amazing. Such a patient guide and provided us with fascinating information. He was great to talk to throughout the guide, and also very patient with my slightly sniffly 6 year old. The trip itself was full of breathtaking views, wonderful little food stalls and on the whole, an unforgettable experience.
A beautiful day in the mountains, snow galore and pretty traditional houses and wooden churches. The Zakopane region has a lot of charm. The sleigh ride was magical, a Christmas air with the ringing of the bells on the horses. We have made the return to the torch. Thanks to Thomasz for having guided us so well, to the point of explaining how to succeed in its barbecue, and showed us amazing views. I highly recommend this excursion not so far from Krakow.
My partner and I had a wonderful day visiting Zakopane with our private tour guide Tomasz. Throughout the full experience we were made to feel relaxed and comfortable. We were picked up in a private car, which was clean and comfortable and came with bottled water. Throughout the two hour journey we chatted with our host who was informative and humorous. The journey was scenic and we made a stop at a beautiful local village whereby we were able to for out of the car and explore for a short while. We were then taken to Zakopane and given around 90 minutes for sightseeing, seeing the market and main street. Tomasz then took us on a tour of the town, showing us the ski jumps and most important parts of the location. We selected a horse drawn sleigh ride through the surrounding forest, which was simply stunning! It was extremely cold so returning to an open fire and warm food and wine was a delightful treat! We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting, especially those who was a unique day out with no stress away from the city.
