Tour de senderismo de día completo por el desfiladero de Samaria desde Chania

Póngase sus zapatos para caminar para una caminata de un día completo en Samaria Gorge en Creta. Viajando en un cómodo autocar con aire acondicionado, nos dirigimos a las Montañas Blancas de Creta hasta la entrada del espectacular desfiladero, uno de los más largos de Europa. Comenzando nuestro viaje a Samaria Gorge temprano en la mañana y hacia Omalos. En el autobús, nuestro guía le brindará información útil sobre el lugar, la historia, la formación de las Montañas Blancas, la flora, la fauna y algunos consejos para la seguridad y las normas dentro de la garganta. Durante el viaje, tenemos una breve parada para refrescarnos y luego seguimos el camino a Xyloskalo, que es la entrada a la Garganta. La caminata es gratuita, lo que significa que puede mantener su propio ritmo mientras cruza el desfiladero. Al finalizar la caminata por el desfiladero de Samaria, llegará al increíble pueblo costero de Agia Roumeli, que es una de las playas más vírgenes del sur de Creta.

Te recogeremos en autobús y comenzaremos el viaje.
07 : 45 Comenzaremos a caminar desde Xilóscalo, la entrada de la quebrada Samaria.
14 :00 Al final del desfiladero, llegaremos al magnífico pueblo junto a la playa de Agia Roumeli, donde tendrá tiempo libre (alrededor de 2,5 horas) para nadar y almorzar opcionalmente. Luego, alrededor de las 17:00-17:30 navegaremos hacia Sougia. Allí, alrededor de las 18:30 nuestro autobús nos estará esperando, para poder ser trasladado de regreso a su hotel.

Todos nuestros tours incluyen recogida en la calle de su hotel o en un punto de recogida designado cercano. Tenga en cuenta que ofrecemos recogida en el área de Kalyves solo los jueves. No ofrecemos recogida en Akrotiri, Stavros, Kounoupidiana, Kissamos o Falasarna. Si se aloja en una de estas áreas, le proporcionaremos el punto de recogida disponible más cercano. Si hay algún cambio en la ubicación o la hora de recogida, se lo notificaremos por correo electrónico y / o SMS. Por favor, póngase en su punto de recogida al menos 5 minutos antes de la hora de recogida programada. En el improbable caso de un retraso de más de 10 minutos, póngase en contacto con nosotros.

Hello. I put a negative rating because I showed up at 5:45 for the meeting place at 6:00 and no one showed up. I waited till 6:30 but nothing. And to complete the trip advisor did not deign to reimburse me or even answer me

We would like to kindly mention that, as you already know, we tried 2 times to call you the morning of the tour (Friday 05/09/25) since you didn't show up for your pick-up, but you never answered the phone. Also, you had our emergency tel. number but you never tried to call us. As we have already informed you (by text), our bus was waiting for you till 06.30 (30 minutes after the pick-up time) and we also had 18 more guests at the same pick-up point and all of them were collected. We even tried to call you after the tour and we sent you a message to which you never replied. We are always trying to provide the best care to our guests, and please allow us to mention that it is really not fair to our company to receive 1 star since we did everything as planned and we really tried to assist you. The Gorge hike and spending time at Samaria port were a great experience. The Gorge provides fantastic rare landscapes. The hike itself is self guided - fantastic to be able to take the route at ones own pace. We hiked speedily and had substantial time to rest and eat at Samaria.

Good organized trip. The guide gave good info in the bus about the day's program. Got times when you should leave some places to safely catch the boat at 17.30. The pickup, the bus, the hiking, the boat trip worked great.

A great day out walking through awe-inspiring scenery. The 6am departure was pretty rough but our guide Ingrid was very informative, provided clear explanations and kept it light with some funny jokes. Although mostly downhill this is quite an intense trek and I'd recommend a minimal level of fitness, cooperative knees/calves/ankles and some good walking shoes. Between the crowds, the hotel pickup, the breakfast canteen near the entry to the gorges, the regular break areas with water points and the Roumelli beach as the reward at the end of the walk, it seems like a well oiled tourist machine but really worth it. The natural landscapes are breathtaking.

I would give this a five-star rating based purely on the gorge hike itself. It is one of the most diverse, mesmerizing sequence of sites you can see. The sheer size and scope of the mountains is incredible but the star of the the show is down at the bottom at famous Iron Gates. What a sight! My tips: take at least a litre of water with you ( there are ample stops for refills and, restrooms along the way), definitely take a snack or two (no snacks along the hike) and definitely wear a comfortable and solid pair of hiking shoes. This is a strenuous walk with a lot of rugged terrain and flip flops will not do. The bus to and from the gorge is well organised and on time. Only thing was the long wait after the hike was completed. I waited about four hours before we departed for home. However, there is a lovely beach at the little town on the edge of the gorge where the ferry leaves from. So by all means, pack a towel and swimming clothes.

It was glorious, you just need ok knees and balance. When the site says 10-12 hours they mean definitely 14. The walk itself took 5 hours. If you are fat, expect the tour guide to assume you are incapable
