So, we didn't actually do on this excursion because it was cold and threatening rain that day. But I wanted to write to let people know a few things that might be helpful. The shuttle (or walk if you choose) from the parking lot to Mont St Michel is far. So, drying off and putting clothes, towel, etc. back in the car isn't really an option. However, and this would be good for the event team to mention to people, at the entrance of the gate at Mont St. Michel they have storage lockers you can pay for, and it was pretty cheap (like 2 Euros I think). So, if you want to bring a towel and change of clothes or shoes, you can take a bag with them, do the experience, towel down, change clothes, if necessary, then leave your bag at the storage and explore Mont St Michel without having to carry that bag around all day.
I must confess I had my doubts, but we enjoyed an incredible experience. Stephane was a wonderful guide. He explained everything clearly and made us feel confident, and gave us the opportunity to try different levels of difficulty several times. I would do it again without hesitation!

It was so much fun to learn about quicksand and then experience it. The kids loved it (7 and 10); they were the most prepared in full swimsuits. I loved it.

We ended up not doing this because of communications with the tour operator before the activity. We emailed the tour operator asking for the exact time as it was not in any of the information received. The tour operator responded but, instead of simply telling us the time, asked us what time it stated in the email we received (but we did not receive an email). I then provided the tour operator with a screenshot of what we received (with no time indicated) and the operator responded to "see email previously sent." We preferred to not even do the activity than go back and forth when the operator could have simply told us the time.
You received two emails from Viator: the booking confirmation and a second one containing the tour details and departure time. I informed you of the departure time twice by email: “Departure: Mont Saint-Michel 15h30 Meeting point is 15 minutes before departure The meeting point is to the left of the main entrance, at the foot of the ramparts…” I asked you to read the email because it contained all the tour details, not just the departure time. However, you chose not to reply to my emails and not to participate in the tour. I had proof, in my Viator inbox, that I had indeed informed you of the departure time twice. Perhaps you should check your inbox before posting this comment…
