Itinerario
El día comienza muy temprano, con recogidas entre las 3 : 00 a.m. y las 3 : 30 a.m. directamente desde su albergue u hotel en Cusco a Cusipata. El viaje inicial dura aproximadamente 1 hora y 30 minutos.
La primera parada será en Cusipata durante 30 minutos para desayunar. Desde allí, continuamos nuestro viaje por otra hora y media, pasando por el pueblo de Pitumarca hasta llegar a Hanchipata–Llama Chimpana, donde comienza la caminata.
Comenzará la caminata al pie de la cordillera Ausangate y se abrirá camino hasta llegar a ella durante aproximadamente 1 hora y 45 minutos. Luego llegaremos al punto más alto de Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), el mejor lugar para ver los increíbles colores y el pico nevado Ausangate.
Este será el punto más alto de la montaña. Usted tendrá la oportunidad de ver diferentes tipos de camélidos sudamericanos (parientes de camellos). También visitaremos la Colina Roja, donde tendrás tiempo para disfrutar del paisaje y tomar hermosas fotos. La entrada a Red Hill no está incluida en el precio de la entrada.
Parada en Cusipata para almorzar.
Terminará la caminata con un descenso de 1 hora sobre terreno plano, regresando a donde comenzó la caminata. El conductor le estará esperando para llevarlo de vuelta al distrito de Cusipata para un almuerzo tradicional de 1 hora. Después del almuerzo, regresaremos a Cusco, llegando aproximadamente a las 3:30 p.m.

This was the most amazing experience. David was an experienced, knowledgeable and highly supportive guide. This is quite challenging given the altitude but with David’s expertise we managed, and thoroughly enjoyed, the day. Rainbow Mountain is really great but the Red Valley blew us away. The Agency were very responsive, communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend this tour.

Went on a tour to the rainbow mountain and red valley with Darwin the guide and it was great. We went early to see the sites, we saw Andean eagles flying, which was great, and the weather was also really good
