Itinerario
Su guía turístico lo recogerá a las 7:30 a.m. de su hotel o dirección dentro del distrito de Quito. En el camino admirará hermosos volcanes como Antisana, Los Ilinizas, Cotopaxi y Tungurahua.
Una vez en la ciudad, caminaremos por las encantadoras calles y tendremos tiempo para visitar el monasterio de la Virgen de "Agua Santa", donde es posible ver pinturas que describen diferentes erupciones del Volcán Tungurahua, que han estado nuevamente en Actividad desde el año 2000.
Conduciremos hacia la hermosa e impresionante "avenida de las cascadas", donde podremos probar diferentes deportes de aventura, comenzando con una parada frente a la represa hidroeléctrica de Agoyan; caminamos hacia la comunidad de "Río Blanco", donde apreciamos claramente la belleza del bosque nuboso; Cruzaremos el cañón del río Pastaza en un teleférico que recorre un cable de 500 metros de largo para visitar la cascada "Manto de la Novia", donde podríamos aprender todo sobre el estilo de vida de la gente local haciendo una caminata hacia el río.
Después de hacer una parada en el mirador de la cascada “San Jorge”, tendremos la oportunidad de recuperar energías almorzando, antes de ir a la conocida cascada “Pailón del Diablo”!
Finalmente saldremos de los caminos trillados para disfrutar de una cascada desconocida llamada "Machay" donde ya es posible ver vegetación amazónica!
Estará de regreso en Quito aproximadamente a las 6 : 45 p.m., después de haber disfrutado de más de cuatro microclimas diferentes en un mismo tour de un día!!

Ximena was amazing!! This was seriously one of the best days of our lives. She was kind enough to extend our tour when it went long due to holiday traffic. We have limited time in Ecuador and this tour is a great way to see everything with minimal time. In 14 hours we saw 11 waterfalls, zip-lined, did 2 hikes, crossed bridges, rode in gondolas, shopped, ate delicious food & enjoyed drinks & more. Seriously cannot recommend enough! I took a day tour to Banos and Upper Amazon from Quito. My guide Ivan was friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. He provided much information about Ecuador and the destination. I was able to do indoor activities like my first ever Benji-style jump for $25 and a walk to the waterfalls. Especially the Devil's Cauldron is stunning, walking there and back is a workout for your legs! Before driving back to Quito we had a dinner. Highly recommended!

Miriam was very friendly, informative and adaptable on our tour to Banos. Although it is a long drive (3+hrs), the waterfalls are worth seeing, particularly if you climb up the narrow enclosed section to walk behind the waterfall. The crowds were large so there were some delays. We also enjoyed the short cable car ride across the valley and the glass/wooden bridge walk. Miriam explained a lot about the scenery, culture and her life stories - thank you very much. We enjoyed the tour a lot.
