Si no le gustan las excursiones intensas, pero quiere disfrutar al máximo de Palomino, le recomendamos encarecidamente esta experiencia. En esta excursión le recogeremos en moto en su hotel o posada. Recorrerás la zona de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta donde se asienta una comunidad indígena. Aquí podrá conocer a la comunidad, aprender sobre su artesanía, costumbres y creencias. Además podrá nadar y relajarse en los ríos cercanos a la zona. ¿Le gusta más entrar en contacto con la gente del lugar? ¡Venga a conocer a los verdaderos guardianes de la naturaleza! Palomino está cerca de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta y alrededor de esta zona hay varias tribus indígenas. Uno de ellos es el pueblo kogui, que vive con sus comunidades cerca del río y en plena naturaleza. Únase a nosotros en una experiencia de inmersión para conocer el pueblo tunkeka y a estos indígenas. En esta excursión, el guía le recogerá y se dirigirá en moto desde Palomino y cerca de las estribaciones de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Llegarás al territorio del pueblo indígena kogui. Conozca su forma de vida, su relación con las plantas medicinales y la naturaleza. Escúchales hablar de su historia y sus creencias y comparte con ellos. Disfrute de la interacción y de la lección cultural sobre el legado indígena en nuestro país. Después también tendrá la oportunidad de bañarse en el frío y fresco río y disfrutar de un momento de relajación. Finalmente, el guía le llevará de vuelta al hotel o posada en Palomino.

Terrible experience. At the beginning of the tour, the guides will tell you to buy cookies for the kids in the tribe. We bought a lot of cookies, after arrival in the tribe the kids and grown ups run to us to get the cookies. After the cookies are finished the main part of the tour basically ends. We immediately felt that we are not welcomed, those people didn’t want us to be there anymore and the tourguide brought us to a river nearby. After sitting for half an hour at the river, we told the tour guide, that it is enough and we left. The tour is advertised as 5 hours, that is a total exaggeration. It is: 30 min driver there, 20 min at the tribe, 30 min at the river and again 30 min driving back. Of course you can stay longer at the river, but that’s no reason for this tour. After the tour we felt quite bad about it, those poor people don’t want foreigners there, they accept them just for a few cookies, it is absolutely not what we expected from a tour like this.

Excellent tour of indigenous village of the Tunkeka village. My guide Esneider was excellent and communicated with the local people. We went down to the river afterwards which was pristine and clear. It was an authentic experience not a tourist trap in any way.
