Es una "ciudad" increíble creada a lo largo de los siglos por los mineros que trabajaban bajo tierra. Hoy podemos admirar su belleza mientras caminamos por pasillos a una profundidad de 65 a casi 130 metros. Una caminata de casi 3 horas, una docena de cámaras inusuales llenas de hermosas esculturas de sal, lámparas de araña y decoraciones, lagos salados y una iglesia inusual: todo esto le espera bajo tierra. La mina de sal es también un balneario, además de una sala de conciertos, un restaurante y una iglesia peculiar, donde cada semana se celebra una misa pública. Haremos todo lo posible para que este día sea especial para ti.

The website was very misleading touting “private/shared” tour portion with transportation. Basically I paid for a very expensive transport to and from the venue. I could have taken an uber or taxi for 1/4 the cost. The driver didn’t take me on the tour as I assumed he would give the tour. He left me at the entrance with my ticket. The tour was with at least 30 other people. When the tour was completed, I found him at the car and he took me back to the hotel. False advertisement for sure.

It’s important to clarify that our driver is not the guide for the mine tour; however, the driver was present to assist you and provided information on where to meet after the tour concluded. After your visit, you were taken back to Krakow as agreed. Regarding your choice of private transport, the fee of 225 euros reflects the comprehensive nature of our service, which includes a 27% commission to the booking platform, entrance tickets, fuel and parking costs, and the driver's compensation. While you mentioned that using Uber might be a cheaper option, it’s essential to recognize that Uber typically offers only transportation without the additional services we provide. Our tour manager Alicja from Krakow4you made our trip. She was extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions and gave us a great overview of life in Krakow. She was also extremely thoughtful, providing us with water for our tour of the salt mines and snacks for after.

Alicia picked us up at airport on our first day & offered to take us back via salt mines on our last day . It was fantastic she is so knowledgeable and kind bought us snacks even as long trip. Highly recommend
It is one of the oldest salt mines in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a depth of 327 meters and its corridors and tunnels reach 287 km. We saw only 1%...miners, in addition to white gold mining, carved statues with religious figures and not directly in salt and there are underground ponds and chapels. No doubt that there were impressive amounts of salt, depths of the mine, size, all the graphics, statues etc, but hundreds of times told jokes does not refresh up or boring story.
Excursion purchased on get your guide. All ok for organization and timing. Worth a visit are the mines if you are in Krakow, tour with a guide in very clear Italian. Duration approx. three and a half hours including one hour for transport by van. Very particular the trip.
<p>We took this tour with my wife and 11 year old daughter. Alicja was great to work with, she picked us up promptly at our hotel in a Mercedes-Benz sedan. For the 30 min trip to the Salt Mine she kept us entertained with Polish traditions and stories. The short walking tour of the town of Wieliczka was very nice and she is quite knowledgeable about the area. We loved the pictures in the town square - she had a great idea for those. Tour of the mine was very interesting and we all enjoyed it. Alicja was right there to meet us at the end and take us back to our hotel. A very enjoyable tour!</p>

<p>Alicja was a great guide. She picked us up on time in a comfortable Mercedes, and provided us with water and snacks for the short drive to Wieliczka. She took us on a nice walk around the town, and got us to our salt mine tour on time as well. We returned to our hotel right at the pre-arranged time. </p> <p>Definitely recommend if you are looking for a trip to the Salt Mines, or to any of the other locations they go.</p>
