THIS is the WORST company to book with. First of all they LIE to Viator and to the clients. We booked this Rainbow Mountain experience based on the fact that they state that they bring needed Oxygen (this is not true!) We only found out that the guide did not bring the oxygen once we arrived at the mountain. Then for the 6 hours of driving - the taxi driver was coughing the entire time! Making us super uncomfortable and having to roll down our windows for the entire trip. The guide did not talk to us during the 6 hour drive but instead watched on his phone his son play in his soccer game. I emailed this company 3 times to indicate that I had food allergies - not once did they reply. We ended up skipping lunch due to my concern of cross-contimanation. They claim we needed to get back for our flight!! Our flight was at 9pm (we returned to Cusco at 1pm) Lies, Lies, Lies......We asked for a refund and they told Viator lies. Do not book with this company .

100% recommend our tour guide Alex and driver Willy. This tour brings us an life-time unforgottable memory and the views are really breathtaking. Our pickup was 4am. We got the message like 10 mins before the departure time that they were coming. Our guide Alex explained the iternery in the beginning and did mention the option of Red Valley before I asked (see my last paragraph). We head to the restaurant for the breakfast first, and the food is much better than I expected. When we arrived Rainbow Mountain, we hired the horses and motorcycles (after the point that the horse couldn't go) to reach to the viewpoint really quickly (~7:50am) and we stayed on the mountain for quite a long time without rush. Then around 9:20am we hiked to the Red Valley (~20-30mins one way). Alex helped to take many photos at multiple spots, and explained a lot about the mountain. We hiked down and the weather became bad. Definitely as a lot of people mentioned that the weather here changed really quickly so it'd better to start the tour as early as possible. We had lunch at the same place as breakfast and we were back in Cusco on 3pm. One good thing about our driver is that he cleaned up the car (dust from our shoes after hiking in Rainbow mountain) when we had lunch. Overall we had a really great time and I totally recommend it! The only complaint is the tour company that when I chatted with the staff the day before, they said it's not possible to do Red Valley if going with this iternery. I was quite confused because Viator agent helped me to confirm this is doable as long as we can reach to the mountain fast enough before and that's why I made the booking. There are also some other travelers' photos with Red Valley as well. The company said I will need to do a different tour that goes up from other than Cusipata and that tour price will be higher (besides the additional entrance fee of Red Valley 30sols pp which is separate from Rainbow mountain). I'm glad that in the end we still go to the Red Valley.
Edward and Willie took excellent care of us. We had a last minute cancelation of other plans, and this tour came in clutch. We were able to reserve the night before and do this tour instead the next day at the very early hour of 3:00am. Edward is personable, conversational, and keeps a close eye on participants' well being during the trek: multiple check-ins for drinking water, sunscreen, and rest breaks. Be aware of the journey through the mountains though; travel is by car and winds through tight turns and sharp slopes. Definitely consider anti-motion sickness medicine or remedies if you're sensitive to abrupt motions. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone willing to brave the altitude and the cold!
One of the best views I have been able to appreciate. A bit difficult to climb due to the altitude, but worth every penny, our guide Franchesco was very competent, I had a great time.
Our trip to Rainbow Mountain in Cusco was an unforgettable experience! The breathtaking views were absolutely worth the hike, and the scenery along the way was stunning. A special thanks to our travel guide, Mr. Francisco, who was outstanding throughout the tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always made sure everyone in the group was safe and comfortable, especially with the high altitude. He shared interesting information about the area and made the journey both enjoyable and memorable. If you’re planning to visit Rainbow Mountain, I highly recommend going with Mr. Francisco. His professionalism and care made our experience truly exceptional. Thank you for an amazing adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
