En el centro de la ciudad de Reikiavik, no se permite recoger directamente en los hoteles, por lo tanto, hay paradas de autobús especiales a poca distancia que son específicamente para recoger / dejar para traslados al aeropuerto y tours. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Relaxing, clean facilities. Did not try the cafe so cannot comment. The mud masks and swim up bar were nice.
The Lagoon is everything you imagine. Hot water, mud masks, drinks, etc. great experience! The premium was the way to go with a robe, 3 mud masks, and a drink.
If you are looking for the beauty and diversity of Iceland, than take this tour. Independently owned and operated. We learned so much and will cherish there memories forever.
The instructions we received from Viator, as to where to meet the bus were completely incorrect and sent us in the opposite direction. I finally had to phone the tour operator to get correct directions. Also Viator didn’t tell us that we would have to change buses. We were supposed to get to the Blue Lagoon at 10 AM. Viator did advise us that we would arrive about 20 minutes late due to road construction. However, due to the pickup bus being late, and having to change buses, we didn’t arrive until 11:20 AM. The bus ride home was direct so no change needed Despite the above issues, once we finally got there, the Blue Lagoon was as amazing and should not be missed. Good changing facilities, very good robes and towels were provided and the lagoon itself was a wonderful experience.
You can expect for the tour operator to lie to you. They will tell you that they will pick you up at 9:30. Then, they will say you missed your ride and you have to wait until 1030. We waited 15 minutes prior to our pick up time and no bus ever arrived. We lost an hour of our tour after paying almost $1000. I truly believe they didn’t want to waste gas on three people so they made us wait an extra hour for a larger group. So, if it says premium or semi private, it is a complete lie. If it says Reykjavik Excursions, do not book the tour. They are awful. Blue Lagoon is great though! If you want to see it, book through your cruise ship or take a cab.

It is the most amazing place - so well organised - we went on a very cold windy day but was still wonderful what it must be like on a sunny day I can only dream If you visit Iceland and have time it is a major tick box

It’s a big concrete pool with lava rock placed around it for decoration. The 3 masks that come with the experience is very nice.

Couldn’t fault the trip. I was a little worried after reading the previous reviews but the bus was easy to find. We had the extra pick up option at the cruise terminal and a bus picked us up and took us to the BSI bus station where we boarded another bus to the Blue Lagoon. It was all very clear and no hanging about. At the blue lagoon all was paid for and we had a great few hours there. Communication was great and they provided the exact location of the bus pick up and the exact location of the return bus and explained that we could return at various times. On return we could be returned to the cruise ship via the BSI bus station but we got off at the Harpa Concert Hall for look around Reykjavík instead and got the cruise shuttle back.

I wanted to come because I’ve been to another one in Alaska. Loved all of the directions at check in. I booked the premium experience, so I got a face mask, robe, and one alcoholic drink. Loved the atmosphere and environment. Wasn’t a lot of people. My only complaint would be the transportation. Going there it picked us up at our hotel. Coming back it dropped us off at a bus stop. Maybe I didn’t read something right, and if I did read it wrong, I’m sorry for the complaint. It was just a little off-putting. Being told to get off the bus and your hotel is around there someplace.

We’re sorry to hear there was some confusion about the return transfer. On the way back from the lagoon, the bus makes stops at several designated bus stops in Reykjavík. If guests prefer to be dropped off at the same location where they were picked up, they need to return to the BSI Bus Terminal and transfer to a hotel shuttle, which will take them directly to their hotel. We send this information by email approximately 24 hours before the tour starts, but we’re sorry if it was easy to miss or not clear enough. Do not book with this company. Arrived at the pickup spot at the map they sent us and the coach necer arrived. Stood in the rain for 45 minutes. When I called to find out what was happening, they said they had picked up others from the spot and could do nothing for us as we were marked as a no show, even though we were there. Absolutely no way they picked up others from the meeting point they told us to be at. I requested a refund for the transfer portion of the ticket, as they did not transport us anywhere, and was denied. Worst customer service. Do not use this company.
