The museum and house were amazing and my granddaughter and I truly enjoyed the venues. The tour guide made my granddaughter very uncomfortable by staring at her chest each time he made eye contact. It was so disturbing that I told her she could go ahead on her own instead of staying with the tour. Additionally, we had requested an English tour and there were three women who spoke only Spanish. The tour guide would speak a portion to the Spanish speaking individuals and then interpret for us. This doubled the length of time we spent at each exhibit. I believe the other women felt the same as an older person in the tour spent most of the afternoon sitting down. We were there so long that the option of going to the museum store was was not even suggested. Everyone was tired and ready to leave. While the tour guide was very knowledgeable his behavior towards my granddaughter and the length of the tour left a very bad impression. Finally it felt as if we were extremely late as the driver was racing to get back to Girona. I can understand but it was just not the way my granddaughter and I had thought this tour would be.
Hi Carol, We are truly sorry to hear that your granddaughter felt uncomfortable during the tour. We are very surprised by what you have shared. This guide is one of our most experienced specialists in Salvador Dalí's life and work, and over the years we have never received a complaint of this nature about him. Regarding the duration of the tour, it was operated as a bilingual tour, so naturally a little more time is needed at each location to provide the explanations in both languages. We would also like to mention that the other guests who shared the tour with you have also left a review, and they rated their experience as excellent. In any case, we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We always take our guests' comments seriously and use them to improve the experience we provide whenever there is room for improvement. Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention.
Wonderful guide Gasper was excellent adding insights and local color to the trip. He was prompt and took us to a great little place for breakfast. After the Dali museum which we had plenty of time to wander we had a wonderful time seeing the countryside on our way to Girona which is beautiful. Gasper showed us the Jewush street the places where Game of Thrones was filmed and brought us to a wonderful lunch spot. 5 stars for Gasper .
Well organised fun day. Dylan was knowledgeable and really helped us understand Dalí at a deeper level, in ways I would never have worked out myself.
Oh, great. Been here 33 years ago but still great is every meaning of the word. Now also viewed the jewelry collection at the end. Too good for words. That man was a real genius
Fantastic.. Wanted to see this house for so long. Real great experience and set in a beautiful are but difficult for wheelchair users and not very mobile. Would recommend this museum.
Excellent visit and our guide was very informative and very easy to talk to and spoke good English. Mike our guide was so helpful and recommended where to eat and sorted us for the bus back to Lloret de mor. A great tour well worth the money and very interesting too.
Alex was a good driver, so I felt very comfortable with him on the narrow roads. The minivan was in good condition and clean and comfortable for the four guests. Miguel was an informed guide and besides learning lots of things that were knew to me about Dali he also shred lots of history and facts about Spain. Seeing the two venues together enhanced the experience.
This is the first time we have hired a tour and the bar has become very high. Our guide Miguel and our driver Carme (also guide), have allowed us to have a wonderful experience. They know a lot about Girona. It has been a very entertaining and cultural excursion. But his kindness, education and know-how have far exceeded our expectations. Do not stop contracting these routes with them. They are very good people and great professionals. We will repeat with them!!
Julia our guide was exceptionally competent in art and history of Dali, his museum and his home. Knowledgeable and very personable !
Julia our guide and Alex are driver were most accommodating. We had lunch unrushed at a beautiful Seaside Cafe saw both museums walked around town and had many wonderful conversations. Would definitely do this tour again.
