El primer día de llegada a Cusco, recomendamos hacer el City Tour, nuestra agencia organiza este tour todos los días. Este tour te da una gran oportunidad de ver Cusco y las ruinas más importantes alrededor. Visitará la Catedral de Cusco, el Templo Koricancha y las Ruinas alrededor de: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara y Tambomachay.

Por la tarde, a las 13:15, lo recogeremos en el hotel para iniciar el City Tour en Cusco, el primer punto del tour, la Catedral de Cusco, ubicada en la plaza principal, muy famosa por las pinturas y más,
Luego visitaremos el Templo de Coricancha, también conocido como "Templo Dorado o Templo del Dios del Sol", fue el templo más importante para el imperio inca en el que se construyó el Convento de Santo Domingo en la colonia, luego visitaremos. Las 4 ruinas cercanas a cusco:
El sitio arqueológico de Sacsayhuaman, está estratégicamente construido sobre una montaña desde donde se puede apreciar una vista de toda la ciudad de Cusco. Es famoso por sus enormes piedras talladas, algunas de ellas miden 9 metros o 30 pies de altura y pesan más de 350 toneladas, en este lugar se celebra cada año el Inti Raymi o el Festival del Sol.
Luego visitará el sitio arqueológico de Kenko, significa laberinto o zigzag, tuvo una función puramente religiosa y donde se cree que los incas momificaron a sus muertos, en el exterior tiene un anfiteatro en forma semicircular con nichos trapezoidales y un monolito que Simula una forma de puma que tiene unos seis metros. Luego iremos al sitio de Puka Pukara, que significa "fortaleza roja" porque las piedras calcáreas de los edificios de este sitio han adquirido el color rojizo del suelo. Este lugar tenía la función de proteger Tambomachay, un palacio importante en el tiempo de los incas. Y también por su diseño arquitectónico y la existencia de fuentes, acueductos y recintos múltiples, habría sido un "tambo", una logia colectiva que ofrece comida y alojamiento al séquito que acompañó a los incas en su retiro a Tambomachay.
Como último punto visitaremos el sitio arqueológico de Tambomachay, ubicado a unos 8 kms. al norte de Cusco y cerca de las ruinas de Puka Pucara, se trata de un sitio inca que se cree que estaba dedicado al culto del agua y donde el Líder del Imperio Inca descansa. Este lugar también se llama Baños Incas y consiste en una serie de acueductos, canales y varias cascadas que corren a través de las rocas. Al final regresaremos en bus a Cusco. Alrededor de las 18:30 a las 19:00 hrs.

It was a great experience, the tour operator are helpful. Katheryn Vargas helped me in giving me solid advice and useful suggestion for my trip in Cusco and Saqsaywaman, sacred Valley and Machiu Picchu.
