Visitarán Chichén Itzá, una de las 7 nuevas maravillas del mundo y uno de los sitios arqueológicos más importantes de México. Acompañados por un guía cultural bilingüe, recorrerán sus principales estructuras, como el Templo de Kukulkán, el Juego de Pelota y otros espacios ceremoniales que muestran el legado astronómico, arquitectónico y cultural de la civilización maya.
Disfrutarán una experiencia gastronómica en Kaua, donde conocerán parte de la cocina regional maya a través de una demostración con ingredientes locales y sabores tradicionales de Yucatán. Posteriormente, tendrán tiempo para disfrutar una comida buffet en el restaurante.
Se refrescarán en el Cenote Nool Ha, un espacio natural ideal para nadar y relajarse después de la visita arqueológica. Durante esta parada podrán disfrutar del cenote, el uso de chaleco salvavidas y la tirolesa incluida dentro de la experiencia.
Realizarán una visita panorámica por Valladolid, uno de los pueblos mágicos más representativos de Yucatán. Durante esta breve parada podrán apreciar su ambiente colonial, arquitectura histórica y el encanto tradicional de sus calles.

My boyfriend and I participated in the Chichen Itza tour, and our guides were Flota and Ivone. We couldn’t have asked for better; they immediately conveyed their passion for their work, and they were friendly and well-prepared, accompanying us throughout the day. We had a great experience with Ricardo (spoke English and Spanish) and Raul (Spanish only). Ricardo was very knowledgeable and has almost had 34+ years of experience with the Mayan History. This was a very fun trip being surrounded with the culture and trying various foods! Tips: bring cash as you will be headed to the downtown historical area where you can purchase refreshments and beverages and tipping the company! Highly recommend for all ages!!

We made the tour to Chichén Itzá, Valladolid and the cenote, with gastronomic component, and we loved the whole experience. Despite being a relatively long journey to the destination, time passed very quickly thanks to the excellent organization and, above all, our guides, Raul and Jesus. Both were extremely friendly, accessible and always available to clarify doubts and help with everything we needed. Over the course of the day, they shared with us a lot of knowledge about the Maya culture and about the history and traditions of Mexico, managing to truly engage us in their culture and bring us as close as possible to their spiritual dimension and roots. The cenote was absolutely beautiful and one of the most striking parts of the tour. Also, during the various stops, the guides gave us great recommendations on what to taste, what to visit and what to do in the moments when we had some free time to explore. It was a very complete, enriching and memorable experience. We strongly recommend this tour to those who want to know more about the history, culture and natural beauty of this region of Mexico. On June 3rd, I participated in a guided tour of the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, followed by lunch in a Maya community, swimming in a picturesque cenote, and a tour of Valladolid. Places and experiences that are nothing short of breathtaking, but the true added value of the excursion is the guides Raul and Flota. An incredible couple: friendly, knowledgeable, and highly engaging. They speak perfect Italian, and their explanations are extremely interesting. I highly recommend the tours with them!

This would be the 2nd tour we have booked with Ekinox Tours - this time to Chichen Itza. First things first this tour is a LONG day. (I would NOT recommend this tour if you have young children) We were collected at our hotel at 7.25 am and did not get back to our hotel until 8.40 in the evening. In those hours, you do manage to see a lot and get your money's worth. The only downside i found this time was the pick up, we were picked up on time but we wasted about an 1.5 hour on a small coach collecting people from other hotels before even getting on the main coach to the main destinations. (Simiar experience coming back too, took about an hour 9r just over again on a smaller coach, each coach is nicely air conditioned) I will suggest that if you are doing this tour select the option to meet them at a meeting point instead! That way you are not wasting time switching coaches to and from your hotel. The Chichen Izta itself is impressive! Its big and a lot of it is open so beware, as you will be exposed on a very HOT day, (lots of sun lotion) take an umbrella with you for shade. Lots of sights to see - LOADS of vendors (apparently about 2000) pathways are rocky so make sure you are wearing good and comfortable footwear!!! It does get busy as there loads of tours going on all at once. After the Itza we headed to a myan village for a traditional dinner, this was really good! They put on a show which was brilliant. Here you are able to see a shaman and do some shopping. Then we headed to a cenote! Its a beautiful cave cenote which has a zip line for those that love adventure. Beware that the cenote is DEEP! They do supply you with life jackets, its not big so when other tours start to arrive it can get quite busy, there is a bar and hammocks you can chill in, should you wish to not swim. You stay about an hour here, then afterwards you are taken to a colonial town called Vollodid which is really lovely! Its a shame that they only alot you 30 mins here, i would prefer less time at the cenote and more time here instead. Lots of shops to see and the main square with the chapel is beautiful. The tour guides are amazing as usual especially if you are lucky to have Luis Barrer, very informative - i enjoyed the Chichen itza and im glad I saw it real and upclose, it is a wonder to see, however in terms of architectural wonder and history I preferred Coba and Tulum Ruins instead. This is still a good tour by all means.
