Had a wonderful experience. We were well taken care of through out our trip. We felt very comfortable and safe.
This trip was an amazing and stress free way to see Slovakia and Zakopane. Tomasz, our driver, was excellent. We were met with a mix of bad weather and traffic and he was a great driver in the conditions. He was knowledgeable, made the drop offs and pick ups seamless, and offered us restaurant recommendations. The driver provides your tickets in advance of each activity and drops you off right where you need to be. I loved seeing the mountains in Slovakia and also the downtown area of Zakopane. Would recommend!
My wife and I enjoyed our private full-day tour to the Treetop walk and Zakopane. Our driver/guide Oskar communicated clearly with us before and during the trip. He made the drive time seem shorter by explaining Polish culture associated with the mountains and explaining the sights along the way. He texted us the tickets for the gondola to the Treetop walk and the train to the viewpoint above Zakopane, and explained where to go. Oskar did not accompany us at the stops, but he provided good recommendations for what to do and how much time we might want to spend at each spot. This made it easier to enjoy the sights without worry. A final stop on the way back to Krakow was to sample local cheese, which we enjoyed very much. The private tour was more expensive than a bus tour, of course, but great to maximize and customize our time in the mountains. We would recommend this tour for anyone with similar desires!
We had a wonderful day exploring Zakopane and Slovakia! Our driver, Jacob, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. He took us all around the area and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The only downside was that the gondola to the upper portion of Zakopane wasn’t working that day, so we had to take a bus instead, which wasn’t nearly as scenic or comfortable. A lot of the shops at the top were closed, and there was a bit of confusion with the bus driver about the round-trip tickets. That said, the tree walk was a highlight—absolutely beautiful views and a unique experience. Slovakia was also a charming surprise, with its quaint town atmosphere, chalet-styled homes, and relaxed pace. We also like the cheese and vodka tasting that was included. Overall, it was a great day and a memorable experience, thanks especially to Jacob’s professionalism and kindness.
We booked this last minute and glad we did. Great trip with good communication throughout. Would definitely recommend
Thank you for review!
We had hoped that July would provide the perfect weather for this trip. It didn't, but despite the rain and clouds the experience was amazing. Our driver Tomasz was extremely polite, informative and great company. The tree top walk is not for the faint hearted when its windy and raining, together with the side to side motion of the cable car, but it is phenomenally breathtaking. Do it.
Thank you for review!
Fantastic experience both in Poland and Slovakia among the mountains. Totally worth it if you don't mind a long day.
Spectacular views of the Tatra mountains. Tree top walk is a great way to see a total 360 Nice Refreshments at the top A 30/40 min walk to the top through the woods if you fancy instead of the cable car ride . Zakopane is a nice town with a mixture of old and new style buildings. Shops and restaurants.
What a great day out, our driver Macek was amazing, he was patient and took us to really interesting places. The tree top walk was breathtaking. Would really recommend
Such an amazing day! A great mix of activities, amazing views, and our driver Wiktor was lovely. Had some stops along the way for if we needed them, had everything we needed provided for us, and even though it was a busy day (around Christmas and New Years), we were given extra time to explore the areas so we still had more than enough time. Definitely recommend - thank you!
