It was a great hike with llamas! Learned a lot about Indigenous culture and saw some cool lesser known Inca sites.
We had a great morning with the llamas, Fabiana and Ruben! A relaxing and different experience in Peru, we took a beautiful walk through the national park and saw many historical Incan sites.
I highly recommend this experience if you have plans to take any excursions in Cusco that require extensive walking and climbing. I won't lie, this hike was pretty tough even though it was mostly flat and we were able to move at our own pace, but the elevation played a big role. I took my 8 year old daughter and she struggled but she survived and I believe that because of this, some of the trickier, more strenuous hikes we took later in our trip seemed to be a piece of cake for her. In fact, we were huffing and puffing and she was running! We absolutely loved our guide Ruben! He was so friendly and knowledgeable and patient. We also want to shout out Irma (I hope that's right) who wrangled the llamas on our trip!
This was an incredible experience that is not normally on the top of people’s lists in Cusco. We did this on our 3rd day to help acclimatize and prepare for hiking the Inca trail. Our guide was very kind and knowledgeable and made sure that we were well taken care of. We got to see ruins and altars we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Highly recommended!
Walking through the Andes with alpacas and llamas was unforgettable. Our guide Holgar was so personable and knowledgeable about his city, history and the fauna and flora of the Andes. He made it feel like walking through the Andes with an old friend.
This was honestly such an incredible experience. I had originally booked a llama/alpaca walk with another service/vendor that got cancelled last minute so I quickly found this tour and booked for the next day. We are so glad that we were able to go our guide Ruben was incredible and engaging as we walked along Incan trails and explored Incan ruins. It was such a relaxing and easy going walk so I definitely recommend if you want this to be your first or second activity you do in Cusco as you acclimatize. We loved the llamas we were with and we were so grateful for all of the effort put into this experience to make it as seamless and wonderful as it was. Highly recommend the views were incredible!
The hike was wonderful! So many beautiful things to see! The information with the tour was perfect! And of course walking with Llamas is awesome!!!!
