Las excursiones de Vieques Kayaks Bio Bay son guiadas en kayaks de fondo sólido y semitransparente a través de las brillantes aguas de Mosquito Bay, ubicada en la isla de Vieques, Puerto Rico. ¡Mosquito Bay es la bahía bioluminiscente más brillante del mundo! Los niños de cinco años en adelante pueden unirse al recorrido con sus padres o un adulto, siempre que compren un boleto para cada participante. Para realizar nuestro recorrido, los huéspedes DEBEN SER conscientes de que Vieques es una isla aparte de Puerto Rico, por lo que deberán tomar un ferry desde Ceiba o un avión desde San Juan o Ceiba y pasar la noche en la isla. Nuestras excursiones salen todas las noches a las 7 p. m. y a las 9 p. m. No operamos durante la luna llena. Esta excursión se encuentra en la isla de Vieques, Puerto Rico. Para participar en nuestro tour, se requiere una noche en Vieques. Vieques es una isla separada de la isla principal de Puerto Rico. Tendrá que tomar un avión o ferry desde la isla principal de Puerto Rico para llegar a Vieques, y tendrá que organizar transporte terrestre separado porque no podrá traer un automóvil de alquiler en el ferry con usted. Debido a que solo ofrecemos tours por la noche para que nuestros clientes puedan experimentar el resplandor de la bahía, incluso si toma nuestro tour más temprano, no volverá a nuestro punto de encuentro con tiempo suficiente para subir a un ferry o un avión de regreso a la isla principal el mismo día. Nuestros guías se reunirán con usted en Esperanza justo enfrente de Rainbow Realty (278 Calle Flamboyan). Ida y vuelta desde el punto de encuentro, la excursión es de 2 horas, el tiempo en la bahía alrededor de 1,5 horas, si el clima lo permite. Proporcionamos transporte desde el punto de encuentro hasta la entrada y regreso de Bio Bay.

Initially I was a little nervous after I booked, due to some of the reviews about the van and sketchy location spot. Let me just say, don’t come to PR in general if your overly bougie, the vans were NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL!!!! Yes, they’re old, yes maybe they are a little broken down, but it’s literally just taking you down the street. Our tour guides were AMAZINGGGGGG, Leonardo and Avi were so informative, funny and helpful! I will def do it again!!
This felt like the budget version of the boo bay experience. Van was falling apart, there was 0 safety information or really any information at all
Visiting the bio bay is one of the main reasons I came to visit Puerto Rico in general and it truly was an unforgettable experience and memory to never forget. Our guide was super knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable if you're a beginner and you can tell takes care and pride of the bay. I would definitely book again when coming back :)

Wonderful experience at a great price. Our guide was amazing - lots of educational material and humor along the way! We were a little worried about the half moon making it hard to see, but it was still magical and the guide was prepared to help us see better despite the moon!
Our experience with Leonardo at Vieques Kayaks Mosquito Bay tour was very enjoyable. He was very friendly, humorous, kind, and knowledgeable. We were not only given a pleasant experience with kayaking all the way to the middle of the bay to experience the bioluminescence to its fullest , but also were given lots of information regarding the way it works. He also was able to point out multiple constellations and give us information on how the position and brightness of the moon would affect the glow we saw in the bay. Even though we went closer to a full moon, which makes it a little less bright, we were able to get the experience of what it would look like on a new moon night, as Leonardo provided us with a way to cover the moonlight and experience the bay as it would be on a darker night. This tour was a one of a kind experience and it was incredible to get to see the bioluminescent beauty of the bay and gain knowledge about how the phenomenon occurs from our guide.

It was the most maginal experience I have ever had, our tour guide was actually really nice and fun.
This bioluminescent bay tour was absolutely amazing! The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We were able to see so much of the glowing water, and it was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Our whole family had a great time, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The guides did a fantastic job explaining the phenomenon while keeping the tour fun and engaging. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Viator should stop using Vieques Kayak Bio Bay. The transport vans were rundown and dangerous. We had to switch vans before we left and upon return, it slipped out of park and my family had to jump out. The kayaks used had broken seats. The bioluminescence is cool but be aware the images you see online are likely altered or professionally done.
We have 3 vans appropriate for this excursion. If we had a misstep with the driver in the rush of finishing one tour and getting the other and not puting ithe van in the appropriate gear we wold look at this because is the 1 first time hearing this. I think some times we getting reviews from other companies not related with us. They are more companies without permits that work with Viator than the ones with permits to operate on the bio bay. We have permits. Bless day.
An incredibly unique and calming experience! The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and the see through kayaks made the whole experience amazing. I would recommend anyone on Vieques to do this tour!!
