This was honestly one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. We did the tour in the clear kayaks, which made it even more unique. My favorite part was putting my hands in the water and watching it sparkle. You could even draw little hearts or stars with your fingers because the bioluminescence would actually glow where you touched it. It felt like something out of a movie. One tip: don’t be like me and spend the whole time trying to take pictures or videos. 😂 It’s really difficult to capture how magical it looks, especially if you don’t know how to use your phone’s night mode. I eventually gave up and just enjoyed the moment, and I’m so glad I did. Some experiences are better experienced than photographed. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico, I highly recommend making the trip to Vieques for this. It’s something I’ll remember for a very long time. 🌌✨🌊
It was a beautiful experience with an added legend and history lesson! Beautiful skies and a quick Astronomy lesson- Gorgeous and once in a lifetime❤️
The moon was too bright 6 days after the new moon. Hope this information helps others plan their trip better. As for the company, I wish they had given us an opportunity to take photos on the kayak, or at least with the paddles on the beach. Maybe have people take off their shoes at the beach instead of at the meeting point.

Amazing! You have to see it to believe it. I couldn’t get pictures to capture it but the water really does light up like in the pictures. We went as close to a new moon as possible to optimize the experience, our time slot was the 22:30 option. Luis was our guide. He was funny and welcoming, even took the time to go over constellations in the sky. He and his team were efficient and helpful. We will definitely try to come back again!

A dream. I have been to other bays with regular kayaks, but the transparent kayak is a game changer and offers a magical experience!!! The guide and the crew were very good and friendly. Recommended 100%.
This was a completely amazing experience and vieques adventures was excellent. This is NOT something to spend your time trying to get video of, you will have nothing to post, but it was incredible to experience to be present for. It's not strenuous, and they gave just the right amount of time to enjoy it.
It was awesome... Perfect weather and the clear bottom kayaks were so cool. Our tour guide was amazing and always in touch with our group. A little cloudy which kinda covered the sky but still we had a great time.
The bioluminescence was so bright and gorgeous. Our guide Javier was wonderful. We were a group of 3 and he took our third person with him on his canoe. He was a complete sweetheart with her and was just an all around great guide. Even took pictures for us. Highly recommend!
