Visitamos la hermosa Iglesia de Notre Dame d'Afrique que domina la larga bahía sobre Bab El Oued y ofrece una hermosa vista y una excelente arquitectura eclesiástica.
Nuestra próxima apuesta será la antigua ciudad del siglo X conocida como la Kasbah "La Ciudadela", donde caminará por las estrechas calles empedradas y explorará las complejas casas, palacios y mezquitas que datan del período otomano.
Llegamos a una de las mezquitas otomanas más conservadas del bajo Casbah y al primer gran edificio que mucha gente ve, la mezquita Ketchaoua del siglo XVII.
Nos trasladamos nuevamente a uno de los monumentos más importantes, prestigiosos e históricos de Argel, el Palacio Bastion 23, ubicado frente al mar. Es un conjunto de tres palacios (17, 18 y 23) y vas a descubrir el aspecto histórico y disfrutarás de las salas secretas en su interior.
Pasamos la mezquita de los pescadores y caminamos por el paseo marítimo frente al mar. Simplemente le recuerda al instante el puerto de Marsella con pequeñas embarcaciones coloridas y también encontrará un conjunto de hermosos edificios europeos.
Nos dirigimos al centro de la ciudad, justo al lado de la carretera principal de la Plaza de los Mártires, donde se puede ver una gran mezquita moderna en vivo color amarillo y una antigua iglesia colonial.
Pasamos por el edificio más colosal del centro de la ciudad, Grand Post office, que es un buen ejemplo de la arquitectura árabe de principios del siglo XX de diseño francés.
Después de terminar con el ajetreado centro, nos dirigimos a uno de los lugares más atractivos de Argel, el Jardín Botánico de El Hamma, un gran jardín dedicado a la recolección y preservación de una amplia gama de plantas, árboles gigantes y un área central con fuentes. y céspedes. Es una gran área para escapar del calor y relajarse.

We asked a travel agency called Fanc yellow to help us. I had a private schedule arranged to fit my schedule, and I was grateful to be able to look around very efficiently. Both tour guides and drivers were excellent. I'm happy with the hotel arrangements.
Loved our trip to Algeria handled fully by Fancyelllow including the arrival visa paper work. Did not have to spend a second worrying about the logistics and Rabie was super responsive. Our day trip was with lovely Luna who was amazing, fun, and knowledgeable. We toured around the Casbah, city centre, botanical garden, martyrs memorial and the museum among many. Highly recommend!!
I spent a terrific day seeing Algiers, from the Casbah to the Memorial du Martyr, with interesting stops in between. I loved the Jardin d'Essai and the French architecture of Alger Centre. Yasmine is an excellent guide, assisted by our trusted driver Hicham. These two really made it fun - shoukran!

We were welcomed and pampered by friends. The people of Algiers have a sense of hospitality. We discovered a beautiful, very clean city; a stroll along the port allowed us to appreciate the beautiful Haussmannian buildings. We visited Bastion 23 (Palace of the Kings on the port), nice visit. Outside of Algiers, the mausoleum of Mauritania and Tipasa. Beautiful visits.
