Fuertes, ruinas y muchas otras sorpresas para ver y aprender en un recorrido completo por la ciudad vieja. Durante su estancia en la Casbah, ¿por qué no probar una comida tradicional cocinada y servida por los lugareños en una antigua casa en el corazón de la Medina. Esto puede ser arreglado por nuestra agencia como parte de su tour. NOTA: Tenga en cuenta que si reserva un tour en grupo sin almuerzo, hay una oportunidad de tomar una pausa para el almuerzo de aproximadamente 45-60 minutos para que todos disfruten de las delicias argelinas y luego reanudar el tour en grupo. Dar Mustapha Pacha es uno de los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura palaciega otomana en la Casbah. Construida en el siglo XVIII para el gobernante otomano Mustapha Pacha, esta residencia combina elegancia y refinamiento, con azulejos ornamentados, techos de madera tallada, fuentes de mármol y patios interiores llenos de luz. Los visitantes pueden pasear por sus grandes salones y habitaciones íntimas mientras aprenden sobre los estilos de vida de la élite otomana y la mezcla de influencias artísticas árabes, bereberes y mediterráneas. Hoy en día, a menudo alberga exposiciones culturales y eventos artísticos.

Issam, our guide, is very knowledgeable. He knows his history and how to story tell it! Loved visiting the Casbah so much with him that I booked a full day to visit Tipaza and Cherchell, which have left speechless! The beauty and history of the sites that mix both Roman and byzantine ruins are truly a must! And their contrast with the blue og the Mediterranean see is breathtaking! And with his architectural background, Issam even throws in some nuggets! I highly recommend Vizitina and Issam! And for those who do not know: vizitina literally means 'we have visited' in Algerian darija (dialect).
An absolutely exceptional visit! I have absolutely no negative aspects to share, everything was perfect from A to Z. Our guide was remarkable: very good anecdotes, clear explanations and sympathy that made everything even more enjoyable. We ended the morning with lunch in a house - traditional restaurant, a real treat, the cuisine was delicious. I am French-Algerian and I thought I knew history well. And yet, I learned a lot! That is to say the richness and quality of this visit!
Very nice experience! Our guide was very serious ( Aissa PhD student in architecture ). He took the time to answer all our questions and explained to us the different construction methods of the houses of the Casbah. The tour lasts 2 hours and it is a tour I will not forget.
This was a great way to get a history of Algiers city and how it became the Algiers of today. The casbah is amazing and you get to see one of the palaces which is beautiful. My guide really knew his stuff and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently 😁

Since I was the only person on the tour I essentially got a private tour for the price of a group tour! The guide was very friendly and informative. He also helped me out with information about how to withdraw cash from ATMs in Algiers as many arent Visa friendly.

It was an enriching experience not only for the historical and architectural aspects related to the Casbah - a World Heritage Site - but also for the focus on the most recent history: the struggle for independence, of which the Casbah preserves the wounds and memories.
