We booked this operator to go from the airport to the blue lagoon and then on to the hotel after our time at the lagoon. They were so great and accommodated us after a 9 hour flight delay! The driver was there for us when we exited. The van was comfy and it was so easy being able to leave our luggage while we enjoyed the Blue Lagoon. He was waiting for us as we finished and then whisked us off to our hotel in Reykjavik. The operator sent the # of our driver so I was able to WhatsApp with him easily when we landed, etc. I would recommend jotting the number down when they send it.

Great experience!! Our flight to KEF was delayed by 2 hours - I informed the driver that our flight was delayed, and he said that was no problem. He was waiting for us on arrival, and was happy to stay a bit longer at the Blue Lagoon as we had lunch reservations at the restaurant after our lagoon experience , and then took us to our hotel - the whole experience was smooth. Great way to arrive in Iceland!

Overpriced and not what we signed up for. The driver was late to pick us up at the airport (it happens, no biggy). He then required us to put our bags in the blue lagoon storage. An additional $30 (3 bags) when he was supposed to stay with them. He then left and was not there when we came out of the blue lagoon at the time we said we would. He was in reykjavík "changing his tires because there was a flat". That is again something that happens but he had texted other updates, why not that? We could have stayed in the blue lagoon for another hour. We should have just booked a bus transport or individual taxis.

Second, regarding the luggage storage fee, we believe there may have been a misunderstanding. Prior to your arrival, we sent you an email explaining that you had the option to store your luggage free of charge at the Blue Lagoon luggage storage facility or leave it in the vehicle, depending on your preference and the circumstances of the transfer. We never require our guests to pay additional luggage storage fees. If you were charged for luggage storage, please send us a copy of the receipt, and we will be happy to review the matter and arrange reimbursement if applicable. We kindly ask that conclusions not be drawn before allowing us the opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. Finally, regarding the delay after your Blue Lagoon visit, the vehicle unfortunately suffered a flat tire. This was an unexpected situation completely beyond anyone’s control. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. However, for safety reasons, it is impossible and irresponsible to continue driving a vehicle with a flat tire. The driver had to replace the tire before continuing the journey and ensuring the safety of all passengers. We understand that travel disruptions can be frustrating, and we regret that this unforeseen incident affected your experience. At the same time, we feel that describing the service as "not as advertised" does not accurately reflect the service that was provided. Our team worked to ensure your transportation was completed safely despite an unexpected mechanical issue. We value every guest and always strive to provide excellent service. Showed up 1 hour late… there was no contact. We had to reach out several times and buy a tour on the phone would not help us stating their system was down so we were stranded in a foreign country without any pick up. Very disappointed.

We arrived in Iceland at 6:00 am and booked the Blue Lagoon for 9am. Knowing we had a car service waiting for us was very comforting. Our driver Nazir messaged me as soon as we landed to let me know exactly where he would be waiting. He loaded our luggage into the van and took us to the Blue Lagoon. He told us about the volcanic activity in the area and the impact it has had on the landscape. We were dropped off at the Blue Lagoon, and picked up two hours later. It was nice not to worry about our luggage as we left it in the van. We were then dropped off in Reykjavik. It is well worth the money to have the convenience of private transportation. I highly recommend!

I am glad I stopped at the Blue Lagoon before going to Reykjavík. I had seen it suggested elsewhere and it’s a great idea after a long flight that gets in early morning, before hotel rooms in Reykjavik are ready. My driver called me when he was 15 minutes away from the airport so I knew to expect him and he came in to the airport to get me and walk to his taxi. My flight landed at 5:10am and we got to the Blue Lagoon at 7:30am but they didn’t open until 8am. This was a bit tricky as I first waited outside blue lagoon for 10 minutes and then was very cold, but found a nice custodian working to let me in so I could wait inside for them to officially open. Only sharing this so those with very early morning flights landing will be aware that you really shouldn’t get to Blue Lagoon until they’re open, unless you don’t mind waiting outside in the cold. As the experience describes, you purchase tickets to blue lagoon separately and they’re not included in this Viator listing. After blue lagoon (which was awesome), the driver picked me up and brought me to the door of my hotel in Reykjavik with no issues.

We booked through Viator this service, our driver was on time and vary polite, He told us a story about the previous volcano that was near Blue Lagoon. We went here before we left for the airport, great relaxation before the flight. Awesome experience. You wont regret it. Highly recommend

Great way to start the day after an early morning arrival in Iceland. The ride from the airport into town is lengthy, so it‘s super efficient to take the shuttle directly to the Blue Lagoon, luxuriate in the hot water, before continuing to the city. The driver was on hand early, with a sign with our names at the airport exit. After 3 wonderful hours at the lagoon, he again was promptly on hand to retrieve our luggage and then dropped at the door of the hotel for afternoon checking. Jet lag doesn‘t really hit when one enjoys an extended hot bath under the open skies. Highly recommended!
