This full day tour brings you to three places, which are Zaanse Schans, Lego Village and Giethoorn. In the morning, you would visit a Dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoe factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that we will travel Zaandam City Center to see the famous 'Lego' building, You will have free time here to take photos as many as possible, or just walk around in the 'Lego' Village. After that, you will travel to Giethoorn, you would discover the 'Green Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with lots of beautiful photos.The tour offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam. Bottled water, power bank, umbrella are provided during whole trip.

You would expect to have following activities on our tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a Dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 30 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a wooden shoe factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 30 different flavors.
At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by traditional clog makers, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want.
After Zaanse Schans, you will travel to Zaandam City Center to see the famous 'Lego' building, You will have free time here to take photos as many as possible, or just walk around in the 'Lego Village'.
In the afternoon, you would explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could drive boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends. Self boat ride will have an upgraded price (around 10 euro/person depends on seasons)

Pickup Locations & Times
We offer hotel pick-up service for all locations in the Highway Ring A10, excluding north part of the IJ river (Het IJ). Travelers can take free ferry to central station from north Amsterdam. We don't pick up from the airport area. One day before the tour, we will contact you via WhatsApp or iMessage to confirm your pick up details. Make sure you leave a reachable WhatsApp or iMessage number in the booking. We pick up between 7:45 - 8:30. You are required to write down your pick up location in the booking 5 days in advance before your tour date. If there is no hotel information in your booking, you could only meet us at Amsterdam Central Station. Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes in advance before our arrival.

We had Reinier as our guide. The pick up was perfectly on time. The car was clean. He welcomed us with good energy and spirit with a bottled water ready. Our first stop was Zaanse Schans. We basically got there before other crowds since we are a small group. So we get to enjoy the scenery with not a lot of people in sight. Despite the rain we still very much enjoyed our experience. We visited the cheese shop and learned how they made the cheese. We also went to a wooden clog making workshop where we were able to see how they make those clogs now with machine. In the afternoon we did a boat tour with just our small group in Giethoorn. At the end of the trip Reinier kindly shared his list of recommendations for restaurants in Amsterdam. Overall, the pacing and timing of the tour was perfect. I would recommend anyone who’s visiting to book a tour with them!!

Wonderful experience with our guide Reiner. He was thoughtful and very informative as well as funny and charismatic. Our tour began at 8:15 and ended at 6pm. He made a long day feel short while not feeling rushed at all. He was clear with pertinent information as to where and when to meet so we had free time to browse. Our little group of 6 quickly became friends! The tour is a must see experience.
What a great tour! Communication started before the tour! Being picked up and dropped off at my hotel was great! We had a small group for the tour and it was perfect. Reinier was a great tour guide. He knows the ins and outs of where you’re going and does a great job at planning to try and avoid the worst crowds. I would definitely book with him again!
Reinier is such a great tour guide, he is so thoughtful and will always make sure you’re looked after. As a female solo traveller, I feel safe and well taken care of! A small private tour with just 8 of us is just the right size. He intentionally took us to some spots earlier so we could avoid other tour groups and he knows where are the good places to take pics! He will let us know where to get good food, and even gave us extra stops for pictures! He prepared water bottles, wifi, powerbank and everything for us, so all we need is just to step foot in the car and he gets everything settled 😆 I’m so glad I went on this tour rather than the larger group ones. I will recommend anybody to take this. Trust me, it’s worth your money!

Reinier was a wonderful guide. Lots of information and very helpful. Loved the “Venice of the North” with all of the beautiful hydrangeas in full bloom and in more colors than I knew they were available in. Zaanse Schanz was fun to see as well with the wooden shoe maker and the cheese sampling. Had a super day!
