Itinerary
The itinerary is a little different for each departure location. Each itinerary has its own charm! Please contact our support team for more information on this.
Nestled within the historic confines of the Prinsengracht, this iconic house served as the refuge for Anne Frank and her family during the tumultuous years of World War II.
The Westerkerk (English: Western Church) is a Reformed church within Dutch Protestant church in central Amsterdam, Netherlands. It lies in the most western part of the Grachtengordel neighborhood (Centrum borough), next to the Jordaan, between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht.
The Royal Theatre Carré (Dutch: Koninklijk Theater Carré) is a Neo-Renaissance theatre in Amsterdam, located near the river Amstel. When the theatre was founded in 1887, it was originally meant as a permanent circus building. Currently, it is mainly used for musicals, cabaret performances and pop concerts.
The most common theory on the origin of the name is as a derivation of the French word jardin, meaning garden: most streets and canals in the Jordaan are named after trees and flowers. Another theory is that the Prinsengracht canal was once nicknamed Jordaan (the Dutch name for the river Jordan), and that the neighbourhood beyond the canal came to be called this as well. Our Flagship canal tour will stard and end here in the Jordaan
The Amstel is the biggest canal of all and Amsterdam was founded from this canal which was originally a river. Fisherman builded a "dam" and called is Amstel're'dam.
Dutch National Opera (DNO; formerly De Nederlandse Opera, now De Nationale Opera in Dutch) is a Dutch opera company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Its present home base is the Dutch National Opera & Ballet housed in the Stopera building, a modern building designed by Cees Dam and Wilhelm Holzbauer which opened in 1986.
One of Amsterdam’s many bridges is the beautiful Magere Brug, known to English speakers at the Skinny Bridge. This wooden drawbridge was once so narrow that it was hard for two pedestrians to pass each other. To cope with increasing traffic on the Amstel, a wider bridge replaced the narrow original in 1871.
Since most canals in Amsterdam make a curve, seeing through so many bridges at once is very rare!
The Munttoren, also called De Munt, is officially called Regulierstoren and used to be part of the Regulierspoort. This city gate was one of the three main gates of the medieval fortifications of Amsterdam. The gate was named after the Reguliersklooster (1394-1532). This monastery stood at the height of the later Keizersgracht outside the Regulierspoort.
The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings. The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"
The Rijksmuseum was founded in The Hague in 1800 and moved to Amsterdam in 1808, where it was first located in the Royal Palace and later in the Trippenhuis. The current main building was designed by Pierre Cuypers and first opened in 1885.On 13 April 2013, after a ten-year renovation which cost € 375 million, the main building was reopened by Queen Beatrix. In 2013 and 2014, it was the most visited museum in the Netherlands with record numbers of 2.2 million and 2.47 million visitors. It is also the largest art museum in the country. Our boats will sail along the Prinsengracht with a view on the Rijksmuseum The museum has on display 8,000 objects of art and history, from their total collection of 1 million objects from the years 1200–2000, among which are some masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer. The museum also has a small Asian collection, which is on display in the Asian pavilion.[3]

Great energy, amazing guides and all around perfect experience! Would easily do this cruise again. Wish it was longer!
Such a disappointing experience! 1) staff decided to pile on 10 more people onto a boast that was already comfortably cosy. 2) the host/ bar tender was lacking in attention to those behind him the whole time, we couldn’t hear him half the time, this was further overshadowed by the loud conversations being undertaken by a trio of girls next to us. 3) drinks were served sloppily, I was waiting for my wine for an age as he had completely forgotten, my partner had to shout to get his attention for our drinks. 4) there was a huge lack of historical knowledge, only simply silly little tales, nothing intriguing. 5) we booked the unlimited drinks and snacks…NO SNACKS WHERE SEEN OR OFFERED! Such a lacklustre trip and a waste of money, being driven around by bored uninterested young lads lacking passion for their jobs!
We had a great time and learned a lot. Our tour guide and boat captain were both entertaining and informative. I highly recommend this boat tour
We did not get the tour we paid for. Because they needed to fill a boat we got placed with another group. A bit disappointed but the tour guides were great.
started over 15 minutes late , organizers seem busy under personnel , it says unlimited drink but you have to ask for it
They advertise ‘bites’ but there was no food whatsoever (nibbles etc. did not expect something extravagant). Plus they say unlimited drinks but in fact they are fairly limited to ‘beers, wine and refreshments’. The boat was beautifully designed though. I’d give it a miss.
Be careful when booking through this platform. Both the platform and the supplier have issues. I booked an unlimited river cruise; the photos showed a beautiful, modern boat with no roof, promising excellent views. However, when we arrived, they only provided a very old and dilapidated boat with a roof, which was a huge eyesore and completely different from the pictures. I strongly complain about this booking platform and the supplier! I will never book anything through this platform again!
Excellent tour with a very helpful team. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining making it a chilled and fun tour. Highly recommended.
It was fun and a great option to see more of the city. Be warned though, it did not come with any small bites as advertised so plan ahead
Had a lovely boat trip, listening to the history was fantastic and the knowledge was great and filled with humour, would 100% recommend and would book again!
