Yokohama Private Tour

Description
After the long era of the samurai came to an end, Yokohama grew as Japan’s main gateway to Western culture. Today it remains one of the country’s major cities, attracting countless travelers every year. Yokohama is in a perfect location—just 30 minutes from Tokyo, the last samurai capital, and 30 minutes from Kamakura, the first samurai capital. Many visitors choose to stay in Yokohama because it offers easy access to both. The city has many popular attractions, including the Cup Noodles Museum, one of the world’s largest Chinatowns, and the beautiful Yamashita Park. The Kirin Beer Factory, one of Japan’s best, and the traditional Japanese garden Sankeien are also very popular. The views of downtown Yokohama from the small boat, as well as the panoramic scenery from the observation deck where you can see all the way to Tokyo, are truly wonderful. Enjoy an unforgettable time in Yokohama. We can also arrange tours to Kamakura, Tokyo, and even Tokyo Disneyland.

Worked well the 4.5 Hr for us with coming off a cruise dropping stuff at hotel and getting back later to check in. Enjoyed China town, tea and then a nice lunch by the port
We're very glad you enjoyed the tour and the guide was happy to talk to you.
I had a great tour. Hiro showed me Yokohama, and explained a lot of the history of the city. I had a special request to visit the Migration Museum and Hiro was able to juggle the schedule to include my request. I enjoyed the tour
Thank you very much for your kind review. I’m delighted that we could include the Migration Museum — the most meaningful stop of this Yokohama tour — in your visit. It was truly a pleasure guiding you through the city.
We had a great time with Hiro. Easy to understand, very professional and fun. Enjoyed the Sea Bass Boat and the views from the 46th floor of the 2nd tallest building in Yokohama. Also enjoyed the food and beverages we had on our picnic.
You gave me useful information in advance and made it easier to organize a tour that suited you two. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in Yokohama.
Our tour guide was Hiro. He is a long time resident of Yokohama, and was interested in sharing with us the culture and history. He communicated with us before arriving in Japan to determine our interests and what we wanted to see and was well prepared. He was very prompt and tried to keep us on schedule so that we could make the most of our time.
I would be very happy if I could help you enjoy Yokohama such as Sankeien and Hikawamaru. Thank you very much.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Yokohama. Kevin ( our tour guide) was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is created based on what you want to accomplish while in Yokohama. We went to the noodle museum and created our own personal noodle cup. After this we then proceeded to go to experience a tea ceremony (educational and delicious). The highlight was having lunch at a local Sushi cafe on the outskirts of Chinatown (off the beaten path). Overall an incredible experience. Thanks you Kevin for all you did to make this tour special.
I'm so glad you all enjoyed your time in Yokohama. Kevin felt close to you and enjoyed the time together. Thank you so much.
Hiro was a wonderful tour guide who knew his city well! We were able to hit all the highlights of Yokohama within the limited time we had. Even enjoyed the Cup Noodle museum! Hiro also took our pictures at the most iconic sites for posterity and sent it to us after our tour! He really went above and beyond . Thank you again for making us want to come back to Yokohama!
You guys were lucky to have such a great weather on this tour. Keep living your lucky life. Yes, come back to see the amazing Yokohama night view.
Hiro contacted several weeks before our tour to get an idea of what we wanted to see. From there he curated the most amazing custom tour myself, teen daughter and husband loved! He listened to the smallest details and made our day trip amazing! He was flexible when we wanted to stop to taste tasty treats (we did that a lot) or pet a cute dog, or stop in a fun clothing store. He helped us collect station stamps and add to our goshuin book. He surprised my daughter with something so special we were truly touched by his thoughtfulness. Hiro took fun photos along the way that he emailed us that same day! Very seldom do we get family photos all together but Hiro made sure to take care of that! Spending the day with Hiro was like spending the day with an old friend. Do not hesitate to book this tour and fall in love with Yokahama! Thank you Hiro!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. You were interested in various things in Yokohama, and it was a fun time for me too. Thank you very much.
The tour guide was very friendly but had no idea of an agenda. He made me pay for everything on this tour of Yokohama, taxis, the meal we had and the boring boat ride.
Thank you for your honest review. I'm sorry that you were dissatisfied with our tour. There is a section in our tour information called "What's Not Included." It clearly states that "lunch" and "transportation" are not included in the price. I believe that we can address your review properly and avoid any misunderstandings by asking about your walking condition in advance so that the tour can be proceeded according to the Itinerary. I look forward to the opportunity to guide you in the future. Best regards.
Hiro did an excellent job. He planned our visits in advance but let us modify the tour based on our time and interests. He speaks good English and knows the area well. I recommended him to anyone who wants to visit this areal
Thank you for your wonderful review. I hope it leaves you with fond memories of Yokohama. Have an amazing cruise!
Amazing and wonderful tour with fantastic sights and sounds, my mother truly enjoyed herself! Thank you, Hiro-san!
I'm very happy that your mother is enjoying Yokohama so actively. From the time booking the tour, I was impressed by the kind son who cared for his mother.
