You can go to various floors here and appreciate this famous buliding - or go to the observation deck for stunning views of Tokyo / Yokohama / The Miura pennisulatr and Mount Fuji (weather permitting )

Visit the original sites of all the first foreign consulates in Japan after the Meiji Restoration. This site is also close to the (optoinal first foreigners cemetery) in Japan. These are hugely important as Japan had just opened up to the outside world after two and a half centures of self isolation.

This walking tour is jammed packed with great information and local knowledge. Andy was very flexible with his program allowing us a different start point and varying the itinerary to suit our requirements. andy is the most friendly person with a fantastic inclusive personality Lots of stops to visit attractions and places of historical importance. We had an amazing day with Andy and would happily recommend him as a guide and Via tour for the bookings.

We learned and saw so much throughout our day; walking and using local transport options. Jack was a great and very knowledgeable guide. His English is excellent. We would love to explore with him again, in the future!

Exactly what I wanted & requested! Jack spoke excellent / easily understandable English (he lived in the US as a child for a number of years) and went above-and-beyond to make my visit exactly what I desired. We visited Sankeien Gardens, the British House, Yokohama Chinatown, Yamashita Park (including the Hikawa Maru), the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and the Landmark Tower. And be aware: while you can tailor the trip howsoever you wish, despite using local trains & buses there is potentially quite a bit of walking - so take into account your personal fitness & stamina. Highly recommended tour & guide - arigato!
The day trip to Yokohama was not all that we envisaged. Started off well with our guide being a pleasant lady. However soon we realised that she was not at all familiar with the place and had to keep looking for directions and was not aware of the history or relevance of any of the locations we visited . The trip was not well planned. we cut it short ahead of time.

I took my disabled brother to Japan, he has learning issues and the tour guide was very gracious with her time and patience. My brother had a great time.
