Itinerary
At Pearl Harbor, learn about one of the most pivotal moments in US history: the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the subsequent entry of the United States into World War II.
The USS Arizona Memorial, at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona during the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and commemorates the events of that day. If tickets to the Navy boat launch tour out to the Arizona Memorial are available by the National Park on the day of your tour they will be provided. Otherwise, the Arizona Memorial can be seen from the shoreline at the Visitor Center.
USS Missouri (BB-63) was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and is best remembered as the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan, which ended World War II.
USS Bowfin (SS-287) is a fleet attack submarine that fought in the Pacific during WWII, and helped to make famous the term, “Silent Service.” Bowfin was launched on 7 December 1942, exactly one year after the attack on Pearl Harbor. She was nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger, so it is fitting that her permanent home is at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The museum hosts a variety of aviation exhibits with a majority relating directly to the attack on Pearl Harbor and World War II.
Active military base with wayside exhibits and memorials. A clear view of the Arizona Memorial can be seen from the shore. Bookstore offering gifts and historic memorabilia.

The driver was punctual and friendly. He was informative and kept accountability for the patrons. I was a little annoyed with the constant dialogue, but that is something that I don't like in general about group tours. My partner said the tour was very good.
An excellent tour covering all the main Pearl Harbour sites. Garfield, our guide and driver, was exceptional and full of stories and facts. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wishing to understand the devastating Pearl Harbour attach in 1941.
We went with a NCL excursion. Our guide was Ken and he was excellent. Extremely knowledgable! Even gave us some extra insider information along the way. Prompt picking us up when he said. Make sure you ask for Ken’s bus. I would definitely want him to be my guide again!
Before planning our vacation to Hawaii, we heard three different people from three different backgrounds talk about Pearl Harbor and how memorable the experience was. They were not wrong. We were able to see the Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin, the Aviation Museum, the Oklahoma Memorial and the USS Missouri. We were aware of the Arizona Memorial, but not that many of the survivors chose to come back to be buried with their shipmates. We were also not aware of the Oklahoma or the memorial. This was another unexpected experience that further cemented the value of the people who served and the sacrifices they made. The one day trip was amazing. If there was one thing we could change, we would probably make the experience two days. One for the Arizona and Bowfin and one for the Aviation Museum, the Oklahoma and the Missouri. It was a wonderful experience, and places we would recommend that everyone visit.
Picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off. There were parts of Pearl Harbor we had to drive too and we were driven there as well. Our guide was hilarious and told us many things about Pearl Harbor on the way and in between stops. Had plenty of time to see everything during the day and had next to no stress about that day because our driver kept us on track to make sure we had enough time to see everything!
We had a wonderful time. Frank our driver and guide was extremely knowledgeble and attentive to our needs.
Wes our bus driver was awesome and funny. He keep the tour moving and on time and made sure you understood where to be at what time, all the while being funny and entertaining. We saw the battleship Missouri, the aircraft museum, the Bowfin submarine with the Submarine museum, the Pearl Harbor visitor center, and the Airzona memorial. All of which are a must to understand what happened and how people were affected in the 1940s during WW2. Wes did not come with us to each area, He made sure we knew where to be and what time while he stayed with the bus so that we could come back any time before the cut off time.
I couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience! Everything was executed as promised. Pickup was seamless and on time. The bus was immaculate and tricked out with amenities. The tour professional was very friendly and supremely knowlegable about the history of Pearl Harbor and Hawai’i. I had the opportunity to see every exhibit - and there was no rush, plenty of time. Tickets were taken care of as part of the package-what a convenience! A tasty Hawaiian lunch was built into the package too- one less thing to have to worry about. If you want to see the entire spread: Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Ford Island Airport and the USS Missouri - THIS IS THE BEST way to do it. No need to worry about transportation or directions. No need to plan lunch. No need to deal with all the hassle surrounding various tickets to the different venues. I wholeheartedly recommend Polynesian Adventure Tours to anyone who wants to focus on enjoying (and not planning the logistics) for seeing all of these historic national treasures.
This tour was amazing. So much packed into a full day. If history and military are in your wheelhouse this is the tour for you. Kenneth was friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip between destinations interesting and enjoyable. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
I think going to all4 experiences enhances the Arizona Memorial
