Itinerary
This wonderful day trip will take you to two of the UK’s most iconic attractions and one of the world’s most famous – and charming – cities. Make sure you are at the meeting point for 7:30am as your coach will be leaving at 8am sharp!
You will get to the first stop of the day, Windsor Castle, for about 9:30am. This 900 year-old castle perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and imposing turret, It’s easy to see why Windsor Castle is loved by King Charles II.
At Windsor Castle, enjoy a fascinating through–the–keyhole peek at the lavish State Apartments, home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, and visit the beautifully gothic St. George’s Chapel, the atmospheric final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and Elizabeth II. The coach will leave Windsor Castle at about 11:30am to move onto the next part of your adventure.
From a 900 year-old castle to a 5,000 year-old monument – you’ll be taking a step even further back in time when visiting Stonehenge, to which you will get to for about 1:15pm. The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, Stonehenge never fails to impress.
For your last stop of the day – see the beautiful town of Oxford, known for being home to the English-speaking world’s oldest university. On this walking tour of Oxford, follow in the footsteps of Oxford’s famous students (such as C.S.Lewis and Bill Clinton) as you stroll through the captivating college courtyards and cobbled lanes of this historic university town.
Take in the famous ‘city of dreaming spires’ and see the Bodleian Library – one of the oldest libraries in Europe – on your visit. You’ll be captivated by the unspoilt narrow alleys and ancient squares of this charming place. Your coach will leave Oxford at about 5:45pm. The estimated arrival time back in London is around 7pm.

Awesome guide with Pablo and driver. Really professional and managed a dual English and Portuguese.
A great way to see all 3 sites in one day. The guide and bus driver were wonderful going above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, well informed on each site, and even making sure to help us find our way home from our drop off location! I would definitely recommend this tour!
Tour Guide was very informative she infused humor. She was very polite. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable of the area and he was very nice to us.
While it was a typical hot summer day, we did not get anything out of our guide until the end of the tour in Oxford where he accompanied us for 20m before disappearing into a magic shop! We could. Ot hear him while on the coach bus and he outpaced us at every stop. Felt more like we weee annoying him when asking questions, I believe his name was Oliver. So little memorable interaction his name is fuzzy. I read about plenty of other guides with glowing reviews and wish our experience had been the same. Most of what I heard when spoke Louder was about not getting drunk or carrying on about his random thoughts.either way , we made the best of the 3 locations and still spent a quality family day together.
The experience was pleasant; it is possible to explore the sites without rushing or tiring yourself out.
Had a wonderful time getting to see everything 10/10 experience of a lifetime :) Mr. Oliver and Mr. Gogh.
Our bus driver (Kiran) was very professional and drove very carefully. The bus was very nicely conditioned and was the perfect ride. The highlight of our trip was our tour guide, Danxia! She was extremely engaging but concise and well informed.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted you had a perfect day trip and that Kiran's careful driving and Danxia's engaging, informative guiding made your experience so memorable. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!
Stonehenge was our top reason for booking this activity. We got on the bus and were told Stonehenge was closed for the solstice. It closes for 3 days every year. I don’t understand why they offered this activity knowing that it would be closed. I’d like my money back.
Good but little time in all three places. Bus full. We had bad seats. Could not sit together.
Lovely tour from start to finish with tour guide Peter and driver Patrick! Did the Oxford, Stonehenge, and Windsor tour. Sufficient time to see the highlights, was worried about feeling rushed but didn't feel that way, learned more about the history and significance of each place than I expected thanks to the great knowledge and comprehensive overview from our guide. Very smooth journey too! Don't hesitate to book, Highly highly recommend!
