Itinerary
Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain's highest Order of Chivalry. *St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. These occur at the following times: 08:30 – Holy Communion 10:45 – Mattins and Sermon 11:45 – Sung Eucharist 17:15 – Evensong
This 17th-century historic masterpiece building is situated in the High Street, only 100 metres from Castle Hill. Prince Charles married Camilla Parket Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall at Windsor Guildhall in 2005.
The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, this prehistoric monument never fails to impress!
Pass by the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio.
No tour of Bath would be complete without a visit to the famous Roman Baths that gave the city its name. This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britain's only hot spring. Get a glimpse of how the Romans liked to unwind and see for yourself if Bath’s waters really do have healing powers by tasting a sip in the Pump Room, a stunning neo-classical salon.

We found that trying to do all three things in one day was too much. The amount of time at each stop minimal and there was only enough time to see a fraction of the site. The driver was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable however the coach had audio issues and the seating is much smaller than the seating in a tour bus in the US. My wife and I had been putting the miles in for a week and thought this would be a relaxing experience…..it definitely was not. At each site there was a mad rush to get to the entrance there were lots of other people trying to do the same thing. I would not recommend this.
It was VERY busy, not a lot of time at one place but you got to see a lot on the trip, so if you are just looking for a quick peak at each place then this is a great tour - if you really want to experience the places then you will want to try something else.
Luxury tour with Dave and Alex was fantastic! Dave is so knowledgeable, full of great tips on the surroundings, and Alex drives like a champ!
Jason was an exceptional tour guide for our Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Bath tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and engaging, with such great energy throughout the entire day. He kept everything flowing smoothly and made sure we stayed punctual without ever making the experience feel rushed. Miguel was also a wonderful driver—professional, friendly, and made the journey between each destination comfortable and easy. A fantastic way to experience three incredible places in one day. Highly recommend Jason, Miguel, and this tour!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that Jason and Miguel made your day so enjoyable. It’s fantastic to know that Jason’s knowledge, energy and organisation kept everything running smoothly, while Miguel provided a comfortable and professional journey between each destination. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with them both. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great to be able to see all three in one day l, although by cramming all three locations in one day did not give much time to explore as much as we would have liked too.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the opportunity to visit Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath in one day. This tour is designed to showcase three amazing locations across the UK in a single day, so the time at each destination does need to be carefully managed to allow our guests to experience all three. We understand that you may have preferred more time to explore each location. For guests who would like more time at each destination, we recommend choosing one of our tours that visits one or two locations, allowing more time to explore and enjoy each place at a more relaxed pace. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
This was (as guide said) and introduction to these sites, more time is needed for sure at each, Stonehenge was appropriate; but for limited time traveling, the guide was very informative while in the coach and we saw a lot in our time of 3 wonderful historical sites! Coach and driver were also excellent/comfortable.
This was a very good experience. It was a long day but there was no wasted time. You’ll wish that you had more time at the locations but you’ll have enough time to see the key aspects of each place.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had a good experience and found the tour well organised with no wasted time. We understand that it is a long day, and we are pleased that you still had enough time to see the key highlights at each location. We hope to welcome you again soon.
Our Guide was David, our Driver was Jhon, they make a wonderful team. We were treated kindly by them. David is very fun and knowledgeable and took great strides to assist people, esp those needing additional assistance. He gave us helpful and interesting info as well as suggestions. Jhon was a very good and responsible driver. We absolutely loved this tour! Stonehenge is a fave of mine, personally. But the Baths were totally amazing, as well as that Castle! What can I say? It seems pricy at first, but truly it was worth it. Glad we did it.
Grate tour. The guide shared a lot of interesting stories about the history in England.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found the guide's stories about English history interesting and engaging. We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon.
Whenever my family visits me in London, I have always booked my tours through Golden tours, but unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. The bus had a strong and unpleasant smell coming from the toilet throughout the journey, which made the trip extremely uncomfortable. I was also disappointed by the driver’s behaviour. He was quite rude and particularly impolite towards us. I have used Golden Travels regularly and have generally trusted the service, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the standards you have come to expect from Golden Tours, particularly regarding the unpleasant smell on the coach and the interaction with the driver. We take your comments very seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to investigate this matter further. Please email us at customerservices@goldentours.com with your booking reference and details of your experience. Our team will look into this promptly and take any necessary action. We sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused and appreciate your continued trust in Golden Tours.
