Windsor Castle and Eton College Private Car with Driver Guide

Our tour of Windsor Castle and Eton College was genuinely wonderful. Peter, our guide was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very friendly and a pleasure to be around. Myself, my wife and our 5 month son were able to experience the beauty of the Castle and learn a lot along the way. It is safe to say we will definitely be coming back in the future.

Our guide was extremely pleasant & knowledgeable on the history of Windsor Castle & Eton. Our transportation was clean & comfortable. Our driver, Peter was even kind enough to stop by so I could see the house I lived in 37 years ago while studying in London.

Peter was an excellent guide and provided much information. He is personable and accommodated us as the day went along. We skipped the line and had a wonderful sense of the history of Windsor Castle and surrounding areas. A very delightful tour.

We absolutely loved Windsor! We had a seamless pick up and drop off with our guide/driver. Our only feedback would be that it felt very rushed. We were gone 4.5 hours and I’d say at least 2.5 of those hours were in the car. We didn’t make a stop at Eton college, just a quick drive by. I wouldn’t even include that part in the description of the tour. It was very helpful to have our guide when getting in and around Windsor castle. We went right to the front of the lines! We did fly through the castle and only got to see the band marching away from the changing of the guard. Our guide was nice enough to drop us at Notting hill where we were picking up our day. Besides the rushed feel, we had a wonderful, quick trip.

On a recent trip to England, my husband and I stayed for a week in The Cotswolds and 4 days in London and were very fortunate to have found private tour company “Bespoke England Tours”! I spoke to David, the owner of the company prior to our trip October 6-18, and thought he sounded very knowledgeable so I booked him for all 4 of our private day tours. I had thought I might use separate companies for The Cotswold and London, but am so glad we used David to book tours for both places. All 4 tours were wonderful and very informative and we never could have seen or learned so much on our own or in a large group tour. David and Nick were both fun, interesting, accommodating and very knowledable

I found Bespoke Tours via TripAdvisor and Google. Was happy that both recommended this company as a top-notch operator. I was here for a week in London on business and had I brought my elderly and wheelchair-bound mom with me. Her dream was to see Windsor Castle. But given Covid and her mobility issues I needed an option that would be far more flexible for our needs. The company was very responsive and helpful to setting up a tour specific for my needs. And have encouraged me to buy a ticket online. The piece-de-resistance was our driver Mark Cairns was an extremely kind, considerate professional. He arrive promptly and whisked us to Windsor. While there, he gave us an expert tour of St. George’s Chapel, the state rooms and even nearby Eton. It was like being guided by your smartest friend who has an absolute depth of knowledge in history, Royal family knowledge, architecture and just a really wonderful fun human being to be with! I hope all the tours are given by him! If not, definitely ask for him by name. I definitely want to use this service again!

It was a wonderful experience and David was exceptional- good humored, very knowledgeable and very accommodating. After two years of not being able to travel and see family, it was truly magical to have this trip. David Garcia from Bespoke however made it more enjoyable and memorable! Thank you David from my niece who’s half English ancestry was awoken by your historical knowledge.

We have had 4 great trips with BET already, one Harry Potter tour, one Whisky tour to Cotswolds which was superb by the way, one to Stonehenge and now to Windsor Castle. Great value for money, David was great and we felt we had much more than what we paid for again. Private tour is already a must do for couples and small groups and honestly, a day trip that feels like a weekend holiday as you can drink, eat , have it all guided and no bad surprises. Quick stop for a lunch at Wetherspoon Pub in Windsor, tea and Cinnamon Buns after the Castle and head back home happy and relaxed. Car was spotless clean, David is very punctual, knowledgeable, funny and speaks 3 + languages....I strongly recommend this company, 5 stars.

Really enjoyed our afternoon at Windsor castle. Our driver Doug arrived promptly at our flat and provided interesting comments on some of the local areas as we made our way out to the castle. The castle itself was quite spectacular and the artworks and historic artifacts well worth seeing. Great way to tour, nice vehicle and terrific driver.

We had a wonderful time with David and a very nice tour. David also went out of his way to give us advice for the rest of our visit to London. Well worth it!
