Windmill village Zaanse Schans
Description
We are going to walk on the Zaanse Schans. It is a free walking tour. Give me a tip afterwards, on average guests give € 15 per person. I am a certified Guide and will give you a lot of information about the highlights. The walk shows you the museum shop of Albert Heijn, the clog factory and the cheese factory and of course the windmills entrance not included.

From the Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans station we walk to the Zaanse Schans in about 15 minutes.
I will go with you to the clog workshop. We start in the small museum and you will make a demonstration clogs. Then the opportunity to fit and buy clogs.
I will take you to the correct entrance. You will receive an explanation and you can taste and possibly buy cheese.

Me and my friends had an excellent time with our tour guide Diana! It was really easy to meet her at the meeting point as her communication was very clear and timely. Highly recommend this tour, Diana was a fantastic historian with a wealth of information and a fun and bubbly personality to go with it. Took photos and we managed to dodge bud loads of tourists for a truly individual experience aware from the crowds

We had one of the best tours with Diana for a visit to Zaanse Schans. Diana met us at Amsterdam Central station and had our train tickets. We travelled to Zaanse and she pointed out a few places during the train ride. Once we arrived, she navigated our way to the cheese shop, clog store and the windmill. It was a busy day but she really knew her stuff. Lots of historical information that we loved learning about. This was a small group tour so max like 12-15 but it was just 4 of us so it became a private tour. I really liked that she didn’t cancel the tour because it wasn’t a full group. Also, Diana kept in touch with messages right up until the day of the tour. . After the tour finished, which was about 2 hrs, Diana left us so we were free to wander around on our own. Diana had our return tickets for us. Highly recommend Diana for this tour
