Our tour guide, Jane, was an exceptional guide with a lot of knowledge on whale sharks. We were left with more knowledge than we came with, as well as a great experience. Our boat captain was also amazing. Doing everything possible to maneuver to whale sharks, while also ensuring safety of all.

They picked us up directly at the hotel without delays which was amazing since our hotel wasn’t included in the pickup list of a lot of tours here, so it was a relief! They offered us breakfast before the boat ride and even provided meds so we wouldn’t get sea sick. It was a gorgeous day and we saw sea turtles, dolphins, fish and lots of whale sharks! We were supposed to only dive twice in groups, but they allowed us all to jump one last time and spend more time in the water with the sharks. The boat crew was incredible and always placed the boat in the perfect position so we could dive and swim side by side with the sharks! We also snorkeled more near Isla Mujeres and they prepared a delicious ceviche and other snacks for us to eat on the boat. 100% recommend this tour. Jane was an amazing guide, she spoke 3 languages the entire tour to make sure everyone understood! Would definitely book with them again 💕

What a great experience. Had regular contact with Jasmine via whatsapp beforehand. All my questions were handled quickly and well. My wife was quite tense for this trip but Jasmine managed to reassure her that there was a very good and quiet guide along this was Edgar she said nothing too little. What a top guide that together with the captain and a fellow guide I experienced one of the most beautiful moments of my life. Unfortunately, I got a medical problem in the harbor. Edgar solved this super and quickly and drove us quickly to the hospital. Here I was helped quickly thanks to his help. On the day itself and the days after, both Edgar and Jasmine texted me a number of times how I was doing. I can’t help but say it was a super experience. A very nice excursion with Edgar as guide. Clear explanation. Involved those who were there, too. Per 2 tal and guide into the water. Even if you were a little nervous, Edgar tried to put you at ease. Received nice shots of the trip. The service on board was excellent. Drinks were regularly offered. Prior to the boat trip it was advised to take a seasickness pill. Nice breakfast prior to the trip. Lunch was also fine. The bit of aftercare at the end of the trip was also well taken care of by Edgar.

What an amazing adventure! Lata, Armando, Enrique and Edgar were all simply amazing. So knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. We saw over 20 whale sharks and swam with 4 including a huge manta ray. Sea turtles and dolphins rounded out this amazing trip.

This was a great experience. Javier, our guide was very helpful, kind and funny, and the rest of the staff were amazing as well. We saw a lot of whale sharks as well as manta rays. The fresh ceviche and guacamole they served were incredible! Definitely recommend this tour!!

We saw multiple whale sharks and manta rays, all in close proximity while snorkeling. The tour was informative and went into details about whale sharks and the conservation efforts.

Swimming with these gentle giants is an absolute must if you love sea life. Eco Tours runs a very good operation, from hotel pick up, boat ride, time in the water, and stopping for a ceviche lunch at Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres, everything was perfect. As a warning though, Mexico has a "marina fee" of $20, that's PER PERSON and has to be paid in cash the day of for some reason. Google said this is legit for any tour company that does this kind of excursion, still feels at least a little weird to pay for something more after already paying for it. Then again hotels do the same thing these days.

The experience was exactly as advertised. Jane and the crew put us on a school of whale sharks and we swam around with the gentle giants. Amazing and inspiring! After that, a quick reef snorkel and a ceviche lunch at Isla Mujeres. Good vibes only!
