Please arrive between 5:35 - 5:45pm to receive the whole VIP experience, such as early boarding and front row reserved seating for the Dukes of Dixieland! Pose for a photo as you board -- you'll receive a print as a souvenir of this exclusive experience that can only be booked through Viator. Uniformed ship staff will greet you with a Champagne cocktail. Then, follow your guide on an exclusive private tour of the boat. Feel free to ask questions and take photos as you tour the magnificent riverboat.
Afterward, take your reserved seat and listen to the live jazz band, Dukes of Dixeland. As you listen to the Grammy-nominated group play, enjoy a shrimp cocktail. Then load up on scrumptious Louisiana favorites including tossed salads, chicken and sausage gumbo, creole vegetarian jambalaya, rice, baked chicken, bayou seafood pasta, paddlewheel primavera, herb-garlic fingerling potatoes, green beans almondine, white chocolate bread pudding, bananas foster, and vanilla ice cream. Upgrade to receive all the luxuries of the original tour, but include an open bar (call brand select cocktails, beer and house wine) for the entire duration of the cruise. Then sit back, relax, and delight in captivating night views of New Orleans as you cruise along the Mississippi for two hours. This VIP experience was the best! It far exceeded my expectations! Marlon was out concierge and directed us through the experience; from taking pictures before getting on the boat to getting out “party favors” before getting off the boat, and everything in between. You get so much with this tour: champagne when you get on the boat, a front seat show to the Jazz performance, cocktail, shrimp, appetizer, first dibs on the dinner, buffet, private tour with the captain of the ship, and some souvenirs, including pictures of you and your guests and champagne flutes. Marlon was one of the best parts of this tour and you can really tell that he loves his job. 10/10 would recommend!
This was the best VIP service, the whole cruise was exceptional! Our concierge Marlon made sure our experience exceeded any expectations. The food was delicious, the music award worthy and the highlight was the private tour of the ship with Captain Steve. The steamboat dinner cruise was phenomenal and we definitely recommend this activity.
We booked the VIP experience and wasn't disappointed From start to finish we were treated like royalty by our host Marlon. He's attention to detail and our needs couldn't be beaten, anything we wanted he was on hand to help! The jazz band were 1st class and the ship was amazing. We got a private tour of the boat by captain Steve and he's knowledge and history of the boat was great to hear. I believe this is a must do if you're ever in New Orleans and the VIP experience would top it off.

Brittany our tour guide was ABSOLUTELY amazing I was running late stuck in traffic she made it her duty that I still got our v.i.p dinner she checked on me and NEVER left our side not ever along side her was Zachary he was TOP TIER polite and funny he will be amazing It was my first time coming and experience and also his first day there I hope it wont be his last he was great our Captain Steve was great vry informative and just overall amazing only take away is that when it was time for us to board when we left the captain we had at the end DID NOT make sure we boarded first big disappointment but overall experience was a 10/10 highly recommend

We had a great evening, we were greeted by Marlon outside and from that point onwards everything was arranged to perfection for us. We done the VIP experience and I think it was well worth the money, plenty of drinks, food brought to the table, photos and the best seats in the house for the jazz band. Which was also the best jazz band we’ve heard since being in New Orleans. Couldn’t be happier and thanks to Marlon and the team for a great evening
