This was a day well spent. We enjoyed the visit to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein very much. It would have been great if golf carts or something similar could have gotten us closer to the castles - especially Neuschwanstein. The Grotto was OK - I appreciated the workmanship that brought it to life 150 years ago. Our tour guide, Sabine, was wonderful - providing much information and keeping us on schedule. She directed us to some great eating establishments and souvenir shops as well. Our driver did a great job keeping us safe on the winding curving roads and kept us supplied with drinks and snacks all day. The pickup location was easy to find. We appreciated the timely pickup and organization as well. Thank you for a great day!

We don’t go on many organized tours when we travel but we really enjoyed this one. Sabine was a wonderful guide that helped make the entire day run smoothly. We had a great time at both castles and felt the addition of the grotto was worth it - it is quite interesting. The bus was extremely comfortable and the variety of drinks and snacks both on the way to the castles and on the return was a nice touch. I would easily recommend this tour to others.

Our bus driver was equally attentive between stops, and the scenic drives themselves were a highlight. At one of our stops we crossed paths with other groups from the same company, and the warmth and helpfulness of the entire Mentor Reise team was consistent across the board. After a long, hot, wonderful day, we were welcomed back onto the bus with cold drinks and salty snacks, a small touch, but exactly what we needed. If you're considering a tour, don't hesitate.
