Entertaining fun for the family. Dinner was good. More informative but less actual sumo wrestling. Be prepared to participate!
Fun night and intro to sumo. Delicious food. Great value. Very friendly staff and wrestlers. Recommend
This was so much fun! The entire staff made us feel welcome. They helped us with the lunch, explained how everything worked and gave everyone chances to participate. It was humorous as well as being informational and I learned a lot about the life of a Sumo wrestler as well as the customs for a match. I highly recommend this show - it's great for all ages.
They give a nice overview of Sumo and really encourage participation. Fun evening for families. Would recommend.
We learnt so much about sumo wrestling and had the chance to witness their training and fights. We enjoyed a meal that sumos would typically have. It was engaging, fun, and very interactive.
Fun and informative! We learned a lot. Very friendly and memorable experience.
So much fun! We came with the whole family and had a great time. Educational and fun. They were so friendly.
My son picked out this experience for our family. The staff members were very friendly and courteous. The sumo wrestlers were extremely funny and engaging. My son got to pound mochi and spar with a sumo wrestler. He thought it was fantastic. Only downside in our opinion was the food. Only 1 out of 4 of us enjoyed it. Although flavorful, there was very very little chicken. I would recommend eating ahead and just going for the experience.
First time in Japan and we wanted to get an opportunity for the kids (especially the boys) to get an experience with Sumo. This was highly rated and felt like a good chance. We underestimated how great this event would be. When we got back home, the first thing our son told his friends about an 18 day trip to Japan was the Sumo experience.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and heartfelt review! We are truly honored that you chose SUMOLAND as part of your family’s first trip to Japan. It means so much to us to hear that the experience exceeded your expectations. What makes us especially happy is knowing that, after an 18-day journey through Japan, your son’s first story to his friends was about his time at SUMOLAND. Creating memorable experiences for families is exactly what we strive for, and your kind words are incredibly rewarding for our entire team. Thank you for visiting SUMOLAND and for sharing such a special memory with us. We hope to welcome you and your family again on your next visit to Japan!
Fun evening of sumo! In addition to the show, we enjoyed learning about the history of sumo, techniques and training regime. Plus there were lots of opportunities for audience participation. The operation was very professional and everyone was friendly and engaging.

Sharing the traditions and culture behind this unique sport is an important part of the SUMOLAND experience.
