What a wonderful experience to see some amazing pieces of work. Our guide Ewald had an incredible amount of knowledge on Van Gogh and was very engaging. I am admitedly not the most knowledgable in the history of art but Ewald made this very relatable and it made me appreciate the experience so much more than if I had self guided myself through the museum. I wold highly recommend booking this tour as it will elevate your museum experience!

Paola was excellent!!! Very professional, knowledgeable and had great perspective. She filled in Van Gogh's whole story. Van Gogh's paintings were incredible.
Our tour of the Van Gogh Museum with Paola was one of the highlights of our trip. She is incredibly knowledgeable about art history and brought Vincent van Gogh's life and work to life for both adults and children. Paola patiently answered all of our questions, including plenty from my 9-year-old, and made the experience engaging and accessible. As a parent, I especially appreciated her sensitivity when discussing Vincent's death. She thoughtfully waited until my child was not around to address those topics. Paola struck the perfect balance between education, storytelling, and sensitivity. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Van Gogh's art and highly recommend her.
Tour guide was our third guide to be truly exceptional. I learned so much more about Van Gogh and his evolution as a painter. I am sincerely grateful for the experience.
Even if you don't know how to appreciate art Anna lead us thru the Van Gogh Museum in a way that helped understand the artist and his painting style.
From the moment our tour began, Victoria made it unmistakably clear that we were in the hands of someone truly exceptional. She didn’t just guide us through the museum - she transformed the entire experience into something vivid, personal, and completely unforgettable. Victoria has a rare gift for making art feel alive. Most of pieces we encountered came with a story, a sense of purpose, and a deeper meaning that she unraveled effortlessly. What could have been a passive walk through galleries instead became an engaging journey, where each painting felt like it had a voice - and Victoria knew exactly how to bring it out. Her knowledge is incredibly impressive, but what makes her stand out is how interactive her tour is. She never overwhelmed us with information or spoke in a way that felt academic or distant. Instead, she invited us in – allowing for questions, encouraging different perspectives, and making sure everyone felt included in the conversation. It felt less like a tour and more like a shared discovery. And her passion? Absolutely contagious. You could hear it in her voice, see it in her expressions, and feel it in the way she connected seemingly small details into powerful insights. Whether she was pointing out a subtle brushstroke or explaining the historical context behind a artist, she made every moment feel important. Victoria also has an incredible ability to read her audience. She picked up on our interests almost immediately and tailored the tour in a way that felt surprisingly personal. She created connections across different exhibits that made the entire museum feel cohesive, not overwhelming—a true skill in a space that could easily feel vast and daunting. By the end of the tour, we didn’t just leave with new knowledge - we left inspired. Victoria didn’t just teach us about Van Gogh; she changed the way we see him. If you ever have the chance to take a tour with Victoria, don’t hesitate. She sets the gold standard for what a museum guide should be—insightful, engaging, and genuinely unforgettable.
Great Van Gogh tour with Monique! Well curated in that it told the story of his tortured life through his art. Two and 1/2 hours and you don't see every painting but the tour gains you entry to the museum for the day to explore on your own.
Our tour guide (Irina) was wonderful. Enthusiastic, professional and very informative. We wouldn’t have gotten nearly as much out of the museum without her.
