Everything about this tour is a must see. Hands down. However, I would imagine that most people staying in Page have their own transportation. Therefore, I would highly recommend booking the Upper Antelope Tour on its own. You can easily drive yourself to Horseshoe Bend and the dam. If you have a national park pass, entrance is free, but if not you will probably have to pay to access Horseshoe Bend. The good news is that this pass lasts several days and can also get you into the Lake Powell Marina. Save some time and money and book the Upper Antelop Canyon tour by itself. The starting point is right in town and easy to find.
It is regrettable when guests are unable to appreciate the elements of a guided tour that cannot be self created. Many of the sites can be seen on your own, however, the timing to see them all in the same day, a timely and good lunch in a small community, guaranteed seats at a premier time on a popular tour, professionaly informed experience, no hassles with driving or parking or access. This tour routinely and voluminously receives 5 star ratings for this tour.
This tour was incredible. You will have plenty of time to see both Horseshoe Bend and Upper Antelope Canyon. Our guides were very knowledgeable and provided water, which you will need to make sure you drink plenty. There are several restroom opportunities before and after each stop. The walk out to Horseshoe bend is a little bit of a hike and at an incline coming back so those with mobility issues might have issues.
