Itinerary
Visitors begin their guided Lower Antelope Canyon tour with a short 10-minute walk from the check-in booth to the entrance of of the canyon. The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for our guests’ safety and comfort we advise appropriate shoes be worn. As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern of the tour, guests’ will begin their majestic ascent through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind, and erosion. The numerous echelons throughout the canyon consist of eight uniquely built ladders (with handrails) for safety.

Our guide Jason Ellis knows every corner of the canyon! He took some great pictures for us and pointed out lots of interesting and curious things along the way. He really made the experience special. Definitely recommend!

I experience something that I never think that would happen to me… When I first step into the service center, I am welcome by positive vibe and smile. Check in is fast, environment is customer friendly and clean. The tour guide (Quan) is professional and helpful. I got some amazing secret photo spot! Special thanks to one of the staff, She able to called my name and give great recommendation where to enjoy the city and scene. Her helpful and smile is out of standard. I would say 20/ out of 10!! I definitely will and bring my friend come back in the future
What an incredible experience at Antelope Canyon! This was definitely one of the highlights of our Arizona trip. The canyon itself is absolutely breathtaking, but having RJ as our guide made the experience even better. RJ was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job explaining the history of the canyon, the different plants and vegetation, and even pointing out dinosaur tracks! 🦖 It was fascinating learning about the area while walking through such a beautiful and unique place. RJ didn't just guide us through the canyon—he brought the history and the surroundings to life. You could tell he really knew his stuff and enjoyed sharing that knowledge with everyone. If you're visiting Arizona, I highly recommend experiencing Antelope Canyon, and if you get RJ as your guide, you're in good hands! Definitely an experience I'll remember for a long time. And please tip the man! It's hot this time of year and having back to back tours every hour 🥵 Ask him to do the drum beat inside the canyon! One more thing! He knows how to take pictures better than you do inside the canyons trust me!

We had a fantastic time Saturday, 8/8/26 on this tour and our guide, Jose was a big part of the reason why! He gave us the history, the instructions on safe entry and exiting, and taught our group all about the sandstone slot canyon. He even offered to take photos of groups within our tour at the photo spots in the canyon. His engaging personality and story tales were top notch!! What an awesome place to visit and experience!!
