With a unique guide, stroll through Ueno Park and enjoy beautiful nature and local history. Then explore cozy izakaya bars in Ameyoko, just like you're out with a local friend! Your guide—friendly and familiar with Japan’s food scene—will recommend food and drinks (included). You’ll end the tour with an incredibly delicious bowl of ramen you won’t forget! ● All guides are fun, communicative, and know Tokyo’s nightlife well. ● Women traveling alone can enjoy the tour safely. ● Visit real izakayas loved by locals—hard to find on your own. ● Try unique Japanese drinks and dishes. ● At the end, we’ll help you get to your next destination. ● You’ll eat full meals at several places, so come hungry! (Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.)

Stroll through the Ueno Park where you can enjoy beautiful nature and rich history.
Enjoy izakaya bars in Ameyoko shopping street as if you were with a local friend in Japan!. You can also enjoy souvenir shops, delicious snacks, fresh Japanese fruit, and an arcade.
You’ll finish the tour with a bowl of Japanese ramen. It’s incredibly delicious—definitely something you have to try!

- Please contact us if you are running late. If we are unable to reach you within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, the booking may be considered a no-show.
- The legal drinking age is 20.
- Infants only pay the admission fee. Parents can order their meals and drinks.
- Please note that as meals are prepared outside of FujiTour's kitchen, we cannot guarantee allergy-free meals or accommodate dietary restrictions. We may also not be able to provide substitutions at certain stops, but we will do our best to compensate you at various stops along the tour.
- The maximum number of people allowed to book is 15, but participants will be split into smaller groups of around 6 people, with each group having their own guide
- Please request any special needs (strollers, wheelchairs, or dietary restrictions) when booking. We cannot accommodate requests made without prior notice.

I was lucky to have the tour guide all to myself. Knowledgeable and easy-going, Kyle guided me through Ueno Park and my first meal in Japan while answering all my questions. What a terrific orientation to Tokyo!

Kyle the guide (and fellow Canadian) was great. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he made sure to check in with me that the pace was appropriate and that I was enjoying the tour. Good mixture of local sights, cherry blossoms and history! Enjoyed the tour very much.

Tour guide Usuke was great! Smart young man that was able to engage our group of varying ages. He was patient and did a good job of giving us background on Ueno park, answering lots of questions, and having discussions on a range of topics. He made the experience of ordering and eating food at an Izakayas and Ramen place seamless. The ramen felt like a very authentic local experience and was good! The food at the Izakaya had hits and a few misses. The staff at the Izakaya were great though!
