The authentic Japanese tea ceremony experience at the traditional tea room in the heart of Tokyo! Tea practitioner Ms. Haruki- from Oita, Japan has been practicing the tea ceremony since her high school days. She has learned the international tea ceremony in Tokyo and has presented the tea-making procedure in The US and in New Zealand. As National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter herself, she is actively working on the presentation of Japanese culture especially through tea ceremony.

It took about 2.5 hours! The ladies took extensive time to talk about the traditional customs and background. They were very friendly ladies who did their best to keep the tradition alive in a dignified way. The place is unique, the ceremony and the ladies were too! Hugely enjoyed!!
Really beautiful experience. The three ceremonial tea teachers were extraordinary. They explained the tea history and traditions through different steps. They were kind and friendly. The matcha teas, thick and thin, were super tasty. The sweets selection for each tea type was delicious. The house is really beautiful. We recommend this experience 100%. We are super greatful for the knowledge these three amazing women taught us.
