It was a good general tour around Shibuya. It was more shopping to buy souvenirs than expected. The food was good at the restaurant she took us to. Kari gave us a good introduction of the area and really tried to customize the tour for us.
Excellent experience, great food and wonderful guide, Koshiro
this was a wonderful way for us to spend a first evening in Tokyo before boarding our cruise ship. Kyle was a great guide. He had plenty of history to share. Food was excellent as we visited a gyoza place and a seafood place. It was good exercise, kept us moving after a night of no sleep and we saw, at least, a bit of the city. Drinks were good. There were only two couples in the tour "group", so no issues dealing with a big group.
Kari was a great tour guide and I was able to learn a lot about Shinjuku in a short amount of time!
A+ tour! A few familiar Japanese favourites and many new delicious foods. Taiga-san was a great host, asking lots of questions about our experiences and sharing many of his own. Picking a noon departure meant we visited the red light district while it was still quiet.
The tour guide was very nice. She asked us what we liked and gave us recommendations on shopping areas and places to go. She also explained the etiquette of how to eat the food and why it is like that in a educational way and was very kind helping us when we messed up. Only thing that was not perfect is it was less food than I originally expected, but it was definitely worth the price.
Such a great way to see this area and visit local restaurants that you may not know about. Our guide (Kari) was super laid back and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try “adventurous” foods and learn about local culture.
The tour was wonderful, our guide Ren was a lovely conversationalist and provided us with a lot of helpful information of our surroundings
Quite possibly the best tour I have been on. I saw a lot of things I wouldn’t have otherwise seen, learned a ton about the culture, and ate some really wonderful things. I wouldn’t have been able to navigate golden Gai by myself and was in great hands with Kari.
Sae was wonderful! We had a great day learning about local culture and of course the delicious food! We were stuffed when finished.
