We had Sammy as a guide. Fantastic entertaining insight into the local culture as well as the local attractions. Nearly 3 hour walk which flew by. Highly recommend.
If Carlsberg did walking tours, this one, with guide Sami, would probably be the best in Norway! He has great knowledge, illustrated by interesting anecdotes, and shows Bergen off at its best.
Sami is a wonderful, funny, and very interesting guide. The tour is informative and has no downtime. I highly recommend it!
Absolutely excellent walking tour. So incredibly informative and delivered in a fun, breezy style that was a joy to listen to. Highly recommend for getting a good overview of Bergen at the start of any visit. Lots of good recommendations for eating, drinking, shopping and other local entertainments.
Sami is an excellent guide with many animated stories and information related to historic sites in Bergen. Excellent!!
If you take this tour, keep in mind that the tour guide loves talking about himself and making jokes. Standing in the rain while he mocked Norwegians for being so introverted was definitely not on my bingo card. I came to see Bergen, not attend a comedy show. Some of his jokes felt a bit offensive, especially as someone from Eastern Europe myself. He also speaks quite fast, which made it hard for some people to follow. All in all, the tour was decent and I learned some interesting facts about Norwegians.
Our tour guide Sammy was very informative and funny = Great !! About 3h tour with a lot of interesting places to visit
