The View from The Shard: Experience the incredible sights from the viewing platform at The Shard, standing at twice the height of any other viewing platform in the city. The stunning views of the world’s greatest city span an unbelievable 40 mile (64km) radius, standing at an impressive 1,016ft or 310 metres high.The lift travels at six metres per second, meaning you travel from Level 1 to Level 68 in about 60 seconds! The main viewing gallery on Level 69 is a spectacular three storeys high, flooded with light in the daytime and the perfect place to see the glittering lights of London at night. For an even higher experience, venture to the partially outdoor viewing gallery on Level 72. Exposing yourself to the elements at this breathtaking height; you’ll be surrounded by the famous ‘shards’ of glass that form the top of The Shard.

- Children aged under three do not require a ticket to visit The View from The Shard. Once booked, the purchase is non-refundable.

- The View from the Shard is currently carrying out essential maintenance work. Level 72 sky deck will be closed until 3 July, and there will be no step-free access between Level 68 and 69 until 30 June.

It was really fun and there were snacks and drinks to enjoy at the top. Although it was really busy and there wasn’t really anywhere to sit as there were lots of reserved tables. Is family friendly.

Was really looking forward to getting some sunset pictures , but unfortunately the glass was too dirty ,

Great view from a crowded observation deck with an overpriced bar. ……………………………………. ………………………………….. .
Enjoyable. Not terribly crowded. Bartender(s) were very amiable. A good drink selection. It will be even better when the construction/renovations are done.
First time coming to The Shard, I had a good time taking pictures and seeing the view. I recommend it.
Although we had the reservation we were queued almost 45 minutes (so we were no longer on schedule). When we got up that was full of people! Dirty glass on the outside, but mostly dirty inside, full of fingers (we saw one of security tapping with his fingers to the beat of the music....). The previous day we were at another viewpoint (free) with a lot less people, and without having to wait to climb when booking.... We thought that this one, being paid, would be better managed (they would meet the schedule) and the views, being higher, would be spectacular, but with the dirt it deserved everything. The booking started badly, not receiving the valid toucher, and having to claim it, and the experience was not good at all.

We did the bus tour around London at night. It was fabulous. Our guide was absolutely amazing, he was very knowledgeable and funny. He was practical and his stories and information was right on point. Highly recommend!

It was amazing View I loved when you first come in they Take your pictures and you can purchase at the end ..We bought drinks 🍸 bit pricey but worth every penny also the toilets 🚻 Have a great scenery view 😀!! I won't spoil it ! You'll love it we came for my daughter 16th birthday 🎂.. Will definitely come again .

So even though the weather forecast was good for the day I'd booked to go up the Shard it was actually cloudy and freezing cold. I did enjoy the hour or so I spent there though. The cost of the ticket was almost covered by the champagne voucher I received. Also got a £5 retail voucher and actually bought two things cos was embarrassed to just pay a £1 for a magnet. Everyone was very friendly and of course due to not being able to see anything I got a free pass for a future visit. I was surprised how small it was and thought there could be more seating but overall all good, despite the zero visibility!!
