Tony was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the very beginning. His passion for Munich’s beer culture and history really came through, and he kept the tour fun, engaging, and easy to follow. The beer and schnapps selections were outstanding, and the tour was the perfect way to kick off our visit to Munich. We learned a lot, enjoyed some amazing local drinks, and had a great time! Anthony (Tony) was a great guide; actually more like a friend out for a good time with friends of his own. Good mix of drinking bier and schnapps paired with some food to “soak up the alcohol.” I would do this again!

Hugo was a blast to drink with and learn about Bavarian beer culture and history from. My favorite part of the tour was getting to try schnapps for the first time! This is the best tour you can take in München!

I was disappointed with this tour. It was very expensive and not worth the cost. Our tour guide took us to three places and we had been to them before and we just drank beer. We could have done this on our own. Our tour guide was very friendly and we all liked him; however, I was expecting someone more experienced and not just a “drinking buddy.”
Hi Julie. Let's talk about the blatant lies you have just posted to our public business listing (known legally as Libel). 1) You did not "just drink beer." As per the tour description, you had beer (3 litres worth), schnapps (4x) and food at two locations. One of the locations you told the guide you didn't want to eat anything, so he didn't order food as to not be wasteful. We actually care about sustainability here. 2) All food, drinks and professional guide are included in the very reasonable price. As a word of advice, booking directly on operator websites rather than 3rd-party providers like this one will save you money as you will not have to pay their commission fees. 3) We do not provide a "drinking buddy." We provide an expert beer guide who spent 3-4 hours telling you the history of Munich's beer scene. If you weren't paying attention that's on you. 4) Yes, we do visit 3 locations and we have always had a "rule of 3" when it comes to drinking tours, Julie. You see, some people can drink and drink and drink, while others are on the floor after 2 beers. We try to find a happy medium. That said, 3 litres (6x 500ml) of beer varying from 5.4% to 9% alcohol, and 4x schnapps varying from 20%-45% is more than enough for most people. We are actually the only beer tour in Munich that provides this amount of food and drinks. So, if you honestly think we aren't worth the price, imagine what you'll think about the other tours. 5) Lastly, as for the claim that you "already visited" the locations on our tour, well, we highly doubt that. Especially considering you have already lied several times in this review. We exclusively visit the lesser-known beer scene in Munich (again, the only beer tour to do this). So, if you have honestly been to the locations before, then all we can say is congratulations on picking some great places - we only visit the best on this tour. That said, it does beg the question - did you (allegedly) visit these locations "before" as in directly before the tour, because it might explain why your memory of our experience is a bit foggy, huh? If you had read the tour description and the countless 5-star reviews, you'd see that drinking before the tour is strongly discouraged.
