We traveled fast to explore the greater Cape. The day provided great views, insights, history and penguins. The weather was fantastic as well. Calvin did a great job keeping us informed through a long wonderful day.
I really enjoyed the trip and the landscapes! Candy, our guide, was kind and attentive, always ready to take photos of us and to share interesting facts and anecdotes about each place. Litha drove with safety and professionalism, making the journey comfortable and pleasant. Table Mountain was closed for maintenance, so they arranged in advance a boat trip to see seals. The whole tour was very well organized, I highly recommend it!

Our tour guide, Candice, was very good. I have poor hearing but was able to understand her. She checked in with each of us regularly and was always ready to help with photos. She was also very knowledgeable. The van was newer and had usb-c ports at each seat for phone charging — nice touch. The seats were comfortable as was the climate control. The tour description is deceptive. It lists three main sites, but we visited at least ten. The penguins were the highlight. If anything, the tour was too long ( could have skipped the ostrich farm, for example). I was worn out before the end. Still, a great value, so hard to complain. I barely made it back to my hotel for a 6:30 meeting, so be warned you might not make it back before 7 PM or later. Pick up and drop off at my hotel were perfect. All of this good, and yet the table mountain cable car was down due to maintenance.
Dear Frank, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed and thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found Candice to be knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful throughout the day. We are especially pleased that she made sure you could hear and understand her comfortably and was always happy to assist with photos. We are also glad you enjoyed the comfort of our newer vehicle, including the USB-C charging ports, comfortable seating, and climate control. We appreciate your feedback regarding the tour description and duration. The Cape Peninsula is a full-day experience with many beautiful stops along the way, and we understand that the long day can feel tiring. Your comments about the timing and stops are very helpful, and we will take them into consideration as we continue improving the experience. We are sorry that Table Mountain Cableway was closed for its scheduled annual maintenance during your visit. Unfortunately, this is outside of our control, but we hope the many other highlights of the day, especially the penguins, still made the experience worthwhile. Thank you again for choosing Cape Archives Tours and Safaris and for your valuable feedback. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Cape Town one day! Best regards, Junior.
A fantastic day out, taking you to many of the must-see sites in Cape Town. Rodney was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge, stories, and humour! He also made sure everyone in the group was accommodated, allowing some of us the time to do a small hike. Table mountain cable car was also closed, so he added a trip to Seal Island which was a very welcome unexpected bonus! I really loved that he had some alternative activities so we didn’t feel like we were missing out. All in all, it was a great day out and well worth doing!

It is wonderful to know that Rodney made your experience enjoyable with his knowledge, stories, and humour, while also ensuring that everyone in the group had the opportunity to enjoy the activities at their own pace. We always do our best to provide suitable alternatives so that our guests can still have a memorable and enjoyable experience despite unexpected changes. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Cape Town for another memorable adventure in the future! Best regards, Junior.

The communication about the tour was excellent. A couple of days before the excursion, the company reached out via WhatsApp to inform that unfortunately due to Table Mountain's annual winter maintenance, the tour would not be visiting this location; however, on the day of the tour, my tour guide, Kelvin, gave the group options as to what we could do instead. The tour went on as planned and a partial refund was issued. This tour is worth it because of the amount of stops along the way. No complaints!
Dear Stephany, Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated the communication and that Kelvin was able to provide suitable alternatives when Table Mountain was unavailable due to its annual winter maintenance. We are also pleased that you enjoyed the many stops and had a great experience overall. Thank you for your understanding regarding the temporary closure and for recommending our tour. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back to Cape Town again in the future! Best regards, Junior.
