Cape Town Wine Tour: Stellenbosch & Franschhoek +Tastings & Lunch

Loved Angelo our tour guide! He really did a good job explaining the area, answered all of our questions, and built a team with our group.

The two wineries visited were nice. Fun to see the facilities behind the tasting room. Another winery would be a better use of time rather than champagne tasting in a store front.

Places visited were reall good. Wine tasting with cheeses, then a lovely lunch at a different Winery. Followed by tasting paired chocolates. Great Itinerary. People in the small group were really nice

Rico couldn't have been a more generous, more knowledgeable guide. He went above and beyond in every way. (Down to dropping us off at our airbnb rather than the dropoff point, knowing it would be a challenge for my 84 year old mother). We had a perfect day. The wines were superb, and we were all especially impressed with Rico.

Great day touring the wine region with Angelo. He was friendly, informative and tailored the day to our wishes. We tasted great wines and loved the chocolates, cheese and stunning views. This tour also gives you time in the two wine towns, which was much appreciated and different than other tours. We highly recommend it.

Amazing Day, great tour guide, beautiful wineries visited, wines and food absolute delicious, thanks to our tour guide “Bonga” who was very informative and very funny. We started the day as a quiet and subdued 10 travelers all from various countries around the world and ended the trip singing songs together on the way back to Cape Town. Fantastic fun and just the right number of passengers rather than a massive tour coach.

Really enjoyed the day - immersed in different vineyards, very ably led by Bonga our knowledgeable and personable guide. Whislt being something of a prodcution line, pourers at individual estates were happy to go off piste and silp in the odd extra glass. My only gripe would be the lack of knowledge, understanding and adventure in others on the (small) tour.

This tour was the perfect way to experience the Cape Winelands in a single day. Our guide, Bonga, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. Our first stop on the route was Paarl for a fantastic cheese and wine pairing at Fairview Wine and Cheese, which was the perfect introduction to the region. Next, we headed to Franschhoek Cellar for an excellent restaurant lunch with a glass of wine. Since we pre-ordered our food ahead of time, we didn't have to wait at all. Afterward, we stretched our legs with a quick, lovely stroll around the charming town of Franschhoek. In the afternoon, we had the wine and chocolate pairing at a beautiful boutique winery called La Bri. The chocolates are made by a local artisan chocolatier and paired beautifully with the wines. We wrapped up the tastings in Stellenbosch with glass of bubbles at The Wine Glass, followed by another leisurely walk around the historic town of Stellenbosch. The day finished with a relaxed drive back to Cape Town, where Bonga entertained us with a playlist of carefully selected sing-along songs. All in all, it was a great day out, packed with premium tastings of local wine.
