If Boston is best seen from the water, then by far the best time to see it is during a sunset cruise on a classic Boston tall ship! We depart Fan Pier Marina and raise the sails, then it’s time to just chill out and relax. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets and enjoy some quality time out on the water with unbeatable views of the skyline sparkling in the twilight. Drinks are available onboard for purchase via cash, credit, or Apple Pay - our menu includes several beers brewed right here in Boston! We also feature cocktails made with locally-distilled spirits. Snacks and bag lunches are welcome, but please no coolers or outside beverages. There is no formal narration during our public sails, but feel free to ask the captain and crew and they’ll happily share their knowledge of local landmarks and history.

- We suggest that all passengers arrive 15-20 minutes before departure to allow yourself time to check in at the boat, which is located at Fan Pier Marina (10 Waterside Ave, Boston).

- PLEASE NOTE: In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event due to inclement weather or other unforseen circumstances, ticket-holders will be given the option to reschedule or to receive a full refund.

Because we operate on a fixed schedule and need to be fair to all of our guests, our schooner must depart at the advertised time and unfortunately cannot be held for late arrivals. We always try to encourage our guests to arrive 15-30 minutes before departure time so they don't miss their sail. The staff were rude and kept nagging me for texting on my phone. First of all, you’re staff, not my teacher. Second, I was texting not making a phone call so it wasn’t disturbing anyone on the boat.

We booked tickets for a sunset sail just a few hours before departure and were genuinely excited for the experience. On our way there, we got caught in unexpectedly heavy traffic related to the World Cup events in the city. We called ahead to let the company know we were running late, and were told they could hold the boat for a few minutes. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we arrived about 10 minutes after departure. I completely understand that departures need to stay on schedule, and I was not asking for a refund. I simply called afterward to see if our tickets could be moved to another sailing on a different night, even a less popular one, since we had just purchased them and missed the departure due to circumstances beyond our control. I was told that the owner strictly enforces the 48-hour cancellation policy and that no accommodations could be made. As a result, the tickets were forfeited entirely. While companies certainly have the right to enforce their policies, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility or goodwill in this situation. A one-time reschedule would have gone a long way toward creating a positive customer experience. Potential customers should be aware that if anything unexpected happens, there appears to be little room for accommodation, even when requesting only a future sailing rather than a refund.

We have a clearly stated policy indicating we do not provide refunds or rescheduling within 48 hours of your sail time. You acknowledged this policy when you purchased your tickets. I would like to note your tickets were not purchased through Viator, though I appreciate you coming here to leave a review. Viator also would not have provided you a refund/reschedule as they have a strict cancellation policy as well.
Our family had a great experience. Captain Jasper, Logan and Jessica were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. The ship was amazing. The sunset views from the ship are beautiful. As promised drinks were available and reasonably priced. We recommend taking a sweater or sweatshirt as it does get windy and chilly.
