This was absolutely disappointing. I was visiting Lisboa with family and celebrating my sister’s 50th and was devastated that driver forgot our booking. Did not call until I tracked him down. He admitted it seeing the booking and had lent his vehicle to his friend. At last minute we had to make alternate arrangements to Sintra. Since it was last minute we could not get tickets to the tours in Sintra or that region and missed out on the part of our trip. I was unhappy with the la k of response or alternative options for another tour. We essentially had to figure out the day ourselves. I had planned the entire trip and did not plan this part of the trip relying on this guided tour to see Sintra and Cascais.
Bruno our guide was excellent, informative with the history, thoughtful and caring. We had a big day covered so many different visits to palaces, villages and the rugged coastline. It was a wonderful experience despite the showers of rain. A must tour to explore.
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide Vasco was knowledgeable and friendly. The sites were amazing and we got incredible photos! His recommendations for coffee and lunch were also excellent. Highly recommend!
Great day our guide David was very knowledgeable and very helpful lots of walking so wear sensible shoes.
I highly recommend this tour, Miguel the guide / driver was really very efficient. Good driving and very prepared. He picked us up in front of the hotel and accompanied us back. We were a small group of 8, so we easily followed all the explanations and historical accounts. Choose this tour and you will not regret it. Thanks Miguel and Ronaldo 🙏🏻
The tour was well organised, just met all the expectations. The landscapes were breathtaking, the itinerary perfectly balanced, and every stop felt meaningful. Our tour guide, David, was exceptional — knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly attentive, bringing each place to life with stories and insights. Truly a highlight of our trip to Portugal.
The stops are extremely interesting but the pleasantness of the experience can be weather dependent. Filipe was a very knowledgeable guide who was engaged with the group and wanted to know our interests. He made a couple special stops when people expressed additional interest and was able to inform us also about politics and literature. He was a safe driver and gave us ample free time for lunch, shopping, etc. Cabo do Roca was not expressly listed on the itinerary as I recall but it was one of my favorite stops as the view was magnificent. Unfortunately because it was cold and rainy 90% of the time, other stops were less pleasant.
Well paced with plenty of free time to explore on your own. The mini-bus option at Pena Palace is convenient and helpful. Restaurants in Cascais are left open for personal choice, so it’s best to do your own research based on preferences.
This was a fun day. It did not include one activity but we did another instead. George was a real character and kept us entertained
We had a great trip to Sintra and Cascais and were really excited about the experience! The places are enchanting, rich in history and breathtaking landscapes. Special thanks go to David, our guide: very prepared, always available and with a really excellent Italian. He made us feel immediately at ease and made the day even more pleasant with his clear and passionate explanations. Highly recommended!
