Start your day with a comfortable pick-up service directly from your accommodation located in the heart of Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia.
A charming riverside town known for its beautiful bridge over the Tâmega River, the São Gonçalo Church, and its traditional pastries. Enjoy a short technical stop and admire the local scenery.
First Wine Estate – Guided Tour and Wine Tasting Arrive at a prestigious Douro Valley wine estate (such as Quinta do Val Moreira, Quinta do Panascal, or similar). Take part in a guided tour of the vineyards and cellars, followed by a tasting of three local wines.

- You can be picked up from a private address other than hotels in Porto & Vila Nova de Gaia downtown area/city center only (Matosinhos Cities are outside pick-up limits)
- Our pick-ups happen between 8am & 8:45am (the time window for all client pick-ups), so we advise to always aim to be ready at 8am in advance.
- Wineries or order of wineries visited may differ depending on their availability.
- Visits at the wineries and river cruises are not fully private and open to external participants.

Superior guidance by our new close friend, Paulo! We enjoyed a tranquil glide on the Douro River, witnessing some of the most beautiful vineyards in the world. We also spent an intimate lunch and wine tour with the wonderful people at Quinta das Chaquedas. Paulo brought it all together for us with his kindness, warmth, sense of humor, and genuine passion for the area.
The entire tour experience was fantastic. Fred was an amazing guide, and I loved going to a small, family-owned winery. Very accommodating for gluten free and pescatarian.
We had a wonderful small group trip led by Felipe. We really enjoyed it despite the heat wave. Clear communication regarding pick up, on-time departure, and excellent driving and information from Felipe as he guided us through the Duoro Valley. We stopped at 2 locations for tastings (1 included a lunch), as well as at some view points, a smaller town at the entry to the valley, and a river boat in Pinhao. Great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the wine & port, and learn about this amazing region! Enjoyed chatting with the others in our group, too
Beautiful and fascinating trip. First, Felipe, our tour guide, was an excellent driver, great guide and quite funny. We really enjoyed spending time with him. The Douro Valley was beautiful and awe-inspiring. The immenseness of the valley and the history of the valley were impressive. The wine tours exposed us to great Portuguese wines, which we will definitely look to purchase. The lunch was delicious. We truly enjoyed this tour. Highly recommend, especially with Felipe.

Our guide Rui Lacerda was brilliant! Really knowledgeable, warm and friendly. He told us about the history of the region, the port making traditions, bears, wolves, beavers, dams, bridges and more! We couldn’t have asked for better. The day is excellent value for money and the air conditioning was very welcome on such a hot day.

What a fabulous day we had with Miguel in the Douro valley. Loved the small group, only eight of us in a superb air conditioned Mercedes, and Miguel was so knowledgeable and friendly but in a very professional way. The whole day was well paced, great wine tastings/lunch and the Duoro valley is just so beautiful. The boat trip on the river was a nice interlude again with a knowledgeable guide on the boat. If you're weighing up whether to do this trip just book it, it was one of our highlights of our trip to Porto and certainly one of the best trips that we've done on our extensive travels. Thanks again Miguel, you were a star.
