Winston Churchill, and so much more!

This is a wonderful walking tour, not just for fans of Winston Churchill, but for anyone who is interested in London’s history and culture. Our guide, Stephen, was extremely knowledgeable, and loaded with fascinating details about Winston Churchill, the shops he frequented, but also about life in present day, London. And if you’re at all curious about where where the Beatles played their last concert on that London rooftop, you won’t be disappointed. Stephen has it on this tour. And James Bond fans will be pleased, too. I recommend this tour, especially for people who appreciate having an experienced, enthusiastic guide all to themselves. People who are curious, and like to ask a lot of questions will be more than satisfied with this tour.

Lovely Day

Martin took us around from about 9:00 to 2:00 before taking us over to the cabinet war rooms. He was able to tell us a lot about London history, Churchill, and other fun facts. It was a brutally hot day but he was able to keep us in the shade 90% of the time. It was much appreciated!

Awesome Tour

Kevin, our tour guide, was awesome. He’s extremely knowledgeable and very nice. He had exactly the right pace and has always attentive of our energy level. At the end, he asked us whether we wanted to continue or go directly to the War Rooms. This was very nice of him and we opted to finish the tour before going to the War Rooms. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone. He anticipated all our questions and provided useful information and suggested other attractions and tour. Overall, we were extremely pleased with Kevin. Regards, Mike.

Outstanding tour of London!!

Many thank to Kevin for the outstanding tour today. We appreciated all the interesting facts and history. The tour exceeded our expectations. We came to learn about Churchill and the War Rooms but came away with so much more. The history of Big Ben, the figures on the face of Westminster Abbey, St James Park, Mayfair, Saville Row and the Burlington Arcade are just a few of the memorable sites. The bits of Beatles and quirky trivia were the cherry on top! I will not spoil all the surprises but suffice it to say that this was no ordinary tour and we have done many in several countries. Thank you again, Kevin. Wishing you a happy new year!

Thank you, Marty!

We had an issue with our flight leaving early. When I explained this, I expected that they would suggest canceling the tour but instead we were given an abbreviated walking tour and given access to the museum earlier. It was very much appreciated. Marty was excellent at showing us as many highlights as possible and getting us to the museum with time to see a good portion of it. Thank you, Marty!
