Itinerary
Start visiting the biggest attraction in Sintra, Pena Palace. Discover the amazing architecture of the Palace and hike on it's trails along the Park.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the sightseeing of the Moorish Castle just on the top of the mountain.
Time to have lunch at the center of the City. Here we will find also the Sintra's traditional sweet. Travesseiros de Sintra.
While visiting the center we will go to the National Palace of Sintra and have a brief description of this monument.
Sightseeing and brief explanation of Quinta da Regaleira
Visit the house and the gardens of the Monserrate Palace, one of the most beautiful monuments in Sintra.

Thank you for a lovely tour today! Nuno was an excellent guide— pleasant, funny, knowledgeable, extremely professional and accommodating. Nuno was able to make lunch reservations at a wonderful local restaurant—we were able to have a true Portuguese meal. The local wine was extremely smooth and relaxing. The staff at Toco do Julio was amazing, they answered all of our questions about the menu and local cuisine. Thank you again — even with the very rainy day he brought light and happiness to our tour! We made friends and memories today! I would highly recommend Nuno as a “must have” guide!!!!

Miguel the tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. Car was very comfortable and he was always concerned about our needs. Pena Palace, Monserrate and Quinta da Regaleira are amazing and having a guide is very helpful. PS. The grounds of Pena are so vast you could get lost, not an easy part to tour. The grounds ARE an integral part of Quinta and I think a guide is a must. Monserrate is an architectural beauty in itself. It also has grounds, but it seems that viewing them from a distance is sufficient.

Booked a last minute private tour for 4 people with Van Go Tours. Communication was excellent and prompt. They were flexible with our schedule and had a Mercedes van which was clean and comfortable. Their tour guide, Joao, was the best part of the tour. Another couple with us said they had taken the tour with another company and only learned a third of what our tour guide explained to us. Tour of Sentra and the other monuments was fantastic, steep with history and culture. We skipped the lines and the tour bus crowds as our tickets were included. Lunch was at the seaside village of Cascais in a delicious restaurant with the best desserts. Joao paced the tour for us perfectly. Highly recommend using Van Go!
